Been here a few times. I'm not Sri Lankin so I have ony tried half a dozen places like this to compare. I would say this is average relatively speaking, however the veggie samosas are noteworthy and rediculously cheap at 4 for a dollar. They are large, moist, and delicious. Its worth a trip just for them
This is a place for take out. Kuthuroti, mutton roll, chicken samosa , spinach wada , wada are delicious. But chuttney is served with wada or idly. There are a large variety of dishes. Overall the food is delicious but the waiting time is high.
Inexpensive but very tasty Sri Lankan food. They have a wide selection of dishes. Vegetarian samosas are 4/$1 and in my opinion, the best amongst it's main competitors in Scarborough. The briyani portions are huge and also very flavourful.
It is usually quite busy every time I've been as it is a popular place. However, they are efficient and orderly in taking your orders.
A gem and our go to place!! Good food and cheap price is a killer combination and Canbe has got it! I'm a sucker for their masala-dosa. Trust me when I say their masala dosa is better than the ones we get back in India. I love their veg options but they could definitely do better with chicken dry dishes. Chicken biriyani, samosas, kothu roti are a few other items I would recommend. Just wish they had a dine-in option as well !

Canbe is my go to place in the entire Scarborough. Oh boy! I just love the chicken biryani there. It is not just quality but also the quantity they offer is unparallel. Buy 1 biryani and 2 can eat happily. Though I am hardcore non vegetarian I simply love the vegetarian options. I'd say Canbe is the best for Indian food in Scarborough. I strongly recommend this place.
I only wish for 2 changes here - 1. More varieties of chutneys. 2 - Put some tables and chairs and make it a dine in as well (Only take away available currently).
It's okay.. Food is alright. Definitely consistent in taste. My pet peeve is the taxes they started charging. I understand if they did it when it opened but they started charging taxes once it's popularity picked up aka when non-Tamils started visiting this place. Oh well, can't blame anyone for squeezing money out of customers. Stopped going here except to buy roti's.
Worth the drive to Acton!. Got a recommendation for this place on Twitter. Absolutely fantastic. Wow, wow, wow. It's take-out only, and they have frozen items, but it's worth the pick-up. I ate 3 Onion Bhajis on the way home. They are just incredible.
Some places go through enough food to keep all their ingredients fresh and potent. This is one of them. And they know how to cook.

Canbe. Probably some of the best South Indian take out in the city! Prices are dirt cheap. Samosas are crisp on the outside, moist on the inside.
