I am a true patron and not an employee of Banfi! LOL

We walked in and there were 2 groups ahead of us. My friend I and were greeted by Nino mmedialtly. He was honest and told us that we were 3rd in line and the wait could be 30 mins. I made my mind up and decided to wait.

Right away Nino began working on making sure he could seat people as soon as possible. He was attentive and courteous. While we waited he offered us a plate of Bruschetta. He kept us updated through our wait which is more than what many hosts or managers do.

We were seated within the 30 mins. The restaurant is not quiet but its also not overly loud, so ya, it may not be the place for a romantic dinner on a Friday night at 8PM but I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

Our waiter was friendly and funny. We ordered the Caprese to start. My friend had a fish of the day dish and I had fettucini rapini. Normally the dish I chose comes with sausage. Our waiter was all too happy to request no sausage and added artichoke as a substitute. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente! (very important to me as I hate pasta that is too soft). Does being Italian give me more cred!?

We shared a Tartuffo for desert and it was exactly what I wanted.

Food was fantastic, portions were great and the staff were very kind!

What I loved was how Nino and staff made you feel so welcome right from the start and they appreciated you being there.

My caprese salad, pasta, large bottle of san pelgrino and tartuffo cane to about $45. But I thoroughly enjoyed, I can't wait to save up and go back again. 

I put this review on Yelp as well because I was really impressed and feel it is deserved.
