Located in Kensington Market, Casa Coffee offers a variety of coffee including coffee beans, selection of tea, ice cream and some pastries. The one I tried when I visited was Ozzie's Famous Coffee Shake. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. I am a coffee addict but this one is really great-Even better than some of the iced coffees or frapucinos that I have tried (well aside from Vietnam Coffee with Milk).
If you get to visit Kensington, make sure to try Casa Coffee.

Aside from being a dedicated foodie, I am also a coffee addict. Who can really resist a hot cup of Java on a cold winter day? I honestly love coffee but not for the caffeine. I really love holding a hot cup of 🍵in my hand, and enjoying the aroma and really absorbing the aura it exemplifies. I love Starbucks but as a coffee connoisseur I Iike to venture off to find a perfect cup of Java!
I always pass by Casa coffee when I'm in Kennsington market. I always see a herd of customers and finally I decided to give it a try!😄 Casa coffee hosts a variety of coffees, espresso based coffees, lattes and specialty drinks. Pretty much it houses all the gems that you can find in a coffee house. I opted for a plain cup of Java (regular). The true test of a great coffee house is how well they can make a plain cup of coffee 🍵.
When I took my first sip I was completely blown away!😮 How can a cup of coffee that is 1.50 be so rich, smooth, full bodied and so delicious? 😕It was just perfect! If I lived close to this cafe, I would definitely be one of it's dedicated patrons with no doubt. Yes! It was that good! I really love the atmosphere as well. There's a small lounge that is located outside of the coffee house, where you can fully take in the sights and sounds of Kennsington market. Sitting there, I completely molded in with the scene. I felt very local and very real, just like the cup of coffee I was holding in my hand😊❤. I can't wait to return back to Casa coffee for another cup of Java and be blown away again!😄😊💨💥🍵...
Mi casa tu casa. Great place with a cool vibe to have a coffee and people watch. Right on the corner, it's like a coffee cabin. They've got large variety of beans you can take away.
One of my favorite little spots to grab a coffee in Kensington, on the corner of Baldwin & Augusta. Don't expect all the bells and whistles of the new 'fashion' coffee joints, but enjoy delicious coffee and great people watching. Cash only, beware!
I always stop to enjoy an espresso as i sit at the window and watch the world go by. Fantastic espresso made properly. Good luck finding a better cafe in Toronto cause you'll need it
Top drawer coffees in a quirky Kensington shop. Great candy selection to look over while the barista whips up a masterpiece for you.
One small note for those reading, the place is cash only.
This is the perfect coffee shop in my opinion. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a place to sit and drink a nice brew. Everything is dirt cheap, and in the summer time, the window opens and you can feel the air coming in as you sit down at the countertop. Or if you're in a rush, you can order from a side window without even coming into the shop. They also have a selection of their own coffee beans to purchase separately. Anyway, it's pretty spectacular. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Toronto. The coffee is very good, but the main reason to visit is the great experience of being at the most vibrant corner in Kensington Market. Grab a drink, cram into one of the ramshackle seats, and watch the crowd go by!
Located on a busy corner in Kensington market. Small place with some stools indoor and covered outdoor deck area. Often busy so the brewed coffee is fresh but notably this is probably the only place where you can get a coffee for a buck (taxes in). They sell coffee in bulk and ice cream as well at the other end of the store. Prime people watching location. Cash only with a sidewalk walk-up window.
Not bad ambience, great cannoli. Not a coffee snob so I can't comment on the quality of the machiatto but it tasted alright to me. The corner bar seats are great for people watching, and there's definitely lots to watch in Kensington...
Cheap, adequate coffee. Has that old-school indie feel: the shop looks a little rough around the edges, but in a good way. The pastries look mass-produced, but I didn’t try any. Cash only.

Great coffee, perfect view of the various eclectic and interesting people of the market. I'm pretty sure i've paid a different price for the espresso I had every time i've gone in there, however. They also only take cash.
