A landmark establishment in the beaches area of Toronto. Packed on the weekends for brunch, or any day but locals feel like heading out for a bite to eat. Typical and expected bar and Grill menu mixed with contemporary favorites as well as "beach themed" menu items.
Well priced with good service in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Good Breakfast. Had a great breakfast at the beacher. My friend had an omelette which was huge and she really enjoyed. I had the eggs Benny which was fantastic!
New Brie Burger with the Homemade Jalopeno Mayonnaise with Sautee Mushroom Onion and Arrugula. Came with my choice of salad or fries - it is hand made and very lean not greasy at all
GREAT Owners who are there and working, making you feel like you belong to a family. After just returning to TO after 21 years away I was greeted like the beganing of Cheers..."where everyone knows your name."

Great to find a place where you see they are genuinely glad you came by. Fab burgers mmmm.. I can't to try their much lauded brunch. Gotta bring my friends and family to meet the family Owners Kumiko and Peter. What a great goldmine for meet, greet and eats! Thanks for being there.
Great neighbourhood restaurant and patio!. I was so surprised to see some unflattering reviews for this place here on urban spoon, because I had a great experience, and wanted to go out of my way to write a review! I just moved into the beaches, and the sunday morning after arriving I needed someplace to grab breakfast. I was so happy to stumble upon the beacher cafe. The service was very friendly and inviting. I am seriously shocked to see people have commented about poor service here. I had a wonderful breakfast, and they were able to accomodate my request to switch the eggs for mixed fruit in my breakfast special. The patio adds to the wonderful atmosphere, and all the tables around me seemed to be filled with local families. I highly recommend this place, for breakfast at the very least. I will have to come back for lunch or dinner to try their regular menu I suppose.
Best breakfast around. I,ve lived in the beach all my life and eat there weekly as long as I can remember. service is excellent - my favorite is the eggs Benjamin - where else can you get real homemade hollandaise on super large eggs over smoked salmon and homefried not deep fried potatoes - for under 10$ . I've also know the owners who are there daily for years. It,s a breath of fresh air to see how much they care for their place.
Great location. I love the location and the patio of this place. The food is not the best out there, but it's not the worst either. The best meal to get at the Beacher is brunch. Staff is friendly.
Brunch at the Beaches. I eat here all the time for a good brunch in the summer, then walk along Queen Street till you hit the board walk.
it's an old building, a landmark of the area. I enjoy the natural light that streams in from the dinning section (it's all windows) with a wonderful view of the busy street as you dine.
I've had nothing but good food for a good price and friendly service.
Awesome brunch fare... Friendly servers... Great atmosphere... Don't miss the eggs benjamin with a refreshing mimosa along with your morning java... Reasonable... Family-friendly
