Their chillie chicken is just so good. The quantity is good for the price. If only the owner/manager can manage to put on a smile. Highly recommended.
It's run quite professionally, they usually turn a few meat dishes into meatless versions, to suit the vegetarian customers. Service is relatively quick even when they have numerous takeaway orders. The hot and sour soup is quite unique with black pepper and a tangy flavour. I do not particularly like rice noodles, but Chung Moi makes good vegetables rice noodles. It's a little higher in prices than the contemporaries.
On two Sundays we observed that it was closed in the evening, even though zomato lists the hours as 1-10pm.

The restaurant is located in a small stripmall off Eglinton. It looks pretty crappy from the outside, but actually pretty clean and legit inside, plus was pretty busy which is a good sign.
Foodwise, as I am not too familiar with Hakka cuisine I tried to order some of the items I wouldnt see at the run-of-the-mill chinese restaurants. So we got the fried chili beef with ginger, Special Prawn in Garlic Sauce, stired fried green beans, and the chicken chow mein (a must based on the other review). The beef i thought was pretty good almost cruchy and pretty flavorful, though there was a bit more flavor from the chilis and ginger. Shrimps were bathing in a tomato/ketchupy/garlic sauce which was pretty good, although def wasnt expecting this kind of sauce. The green beans were nicely stir fried with a black bean sauce and were pretty good. The chow mein was gigantic portion, i thought it was a bit too oily but had decent wokhay.
Service was a bit slow but friendly, but they seemed to have been hit by lots of take out orders.
Best Hakka ever! Go here for lunch all the time. Very reasonable price and great quality of food.
Food comes out fast too and service has never been an issue.

Large portions for prices in the low 10s for most dishes. The menu has many options, although many people I know get hooked on one or two favorites and can't resist ordering the same dishes every visit
The owner is present and friendly. The wait staff is often reserved but helpful and kind. And the food comes in good time, served warm and lots of condiments and spices handy at the tables.
Be prepared for takeout lines out the door at weekend dinner rush. Worth the wait though.
Good Food, fair price. The friendly owner and hands on in managing the restaurant is the best thing going for Chung Moi. I regularly order take out.. Dry Chili Chicken or Beef are both delicious and cooking quality is consistent. A favorite whenever we dine in is the Chili Fish with Egg Rice. If 3 are eating, believe it or not, the serving for 1 order is enough. Service is quick and quality is not compromised. Take out portion is very good value for money.
YUMMM ! , their chillychicken, chicken chowmein, and singapour noodles are just simply deicious , i order from chung moi everyfriday, and this is what i look forward to every friday, because its that good !! you can also eat therr as well in thier cozy little dining area .
The Best Food in Town!. The Hot & Sour Soup is Orgasmic! It's the Greatest Dish I've every had, anywhere.
The Lunch Specials are great value, it's cheap and the plates are overflowing. Don't plan for a very active afternoon after eating here, you'll be too full to do anything too energetic.
The Menu Item F4 is my Favourite. Chili Chicken with Masala Fried Rice. My Usual, and a Great Meal.
I drive down from Newmarket to eat Here. It's worth the Traffic. ;)
