So my friend took me here- as we both are fan of Chinese food & we are big foodies too !!
We ordered everything that we can order from the menu !!
The place is crowded at all times. Super delicious food, hygiene is well maintained, even the portion size is good but only place where they lack is in service- the staff looks lil arrogant and lethargic.
They need to improve on that. Rest all Good 👍🏻
My favourite Chinese restaurant in Toronto from now onwards 🤩
Excellent food! Had a great lunch here on a Saturday in Scarborough, clean, friendly, drinks! Would definitely go back in the future to this place
Good go to food. The staff are nice he restaurant is clean and the food is priced fairly for the portions.
The pakora is awesome! And so are their soups...
This is a great place for Chinese food. The restaurant is well maintained, the staff is friendly and polite. The food is amazing! We had the combo for 3. The portions are good. In dessert, go for the roasted pineapple with vanilla ice-cream. You will love it for sure.
Overall great experience. Will definitely visit again.
Great food, Great service and lots vegetarian options. We were there at a very busy time but the meal was quick and very good. We felt rushed towards the end as the brought us the bill right after we ordered a 2nd drink.
Frederick's Chili Chicken is the bomb... Spicy and dry. The Manchurian Chicken is the best... Saucy and Juicy.. I will recommend this to everyone and people who love spicy food
Took out family for some hakka food and heard alot of good things about this place but wait time was long for food.
The food didn't smell the great , felt like old oil was used but definitely my dish tasted good besides my parents . Quantity was good and staff was friendly.
Federick is a Scarborough institution and although people argue whether it’s deteriorated through the years, I find their offerings just as filled with spices and plentiful as from my youth. Their dining room has been revamped, not exactly palatial but the comfier seating and bright colours a step up from the hole-in-the-wall I remember.
Perhaps their most famous dish is the chicken pakora ($8.99), deep fried nuggets of sizzling hot juicy chicken adorning every table in the restaurant. Marinated so the saltiness runs deep into the chicken, specks of green chilies peak out of the batter to remind you of where the spicy, but bearable, heat originates.
The chili chicken ($8.99) could use more spices, the main flavour derived from the soy sauce that forms the gravy that coats the diced meet. Nevertheless, it’s
Well, a fully occupied restaurant on a week-day evening is definitely a sign of it being a good one. Federicks have always catered to our Indian-Chinese cravings. Chilli chicken & chicken manchurian would be a couple of items I would recommend. They have good combo options too.
I had the Manchurian Fish ($8.50) and it was excellent. The large plate came with rice. Although it took awhile to be acknowledged, the service was pleasant enough. I would go back. Definitely.
