Tried their pork shank ramen which was good but what stood out was their gyoza and fried tofu which were both excellent. Music is generally pleasant and the ambience is good. Service was good and quick.

Came here on a whim with a friend after hearing good things from a coworker who frequents this place. Decided to give it a shot as I tend to walk past quite a few times per week.
The menu was larger than expected but not overbearing. Good assortment of proteins and soup bases to choose from. Decided to go with the Shoyu Pork Soup Sliced Pork Ramen (literally the name on the menu). Also added on a side of Teppanyaki Rib Eye Steak and Japanese Deep Fried Chicken.
The Ramen itself has all the usual fittings; egg, scallions and the such. The broth had more body than I had expected, and it pleasantly surprised me. The steak was cooked to a nice medium, still retaining its’ juiciness and umami. The chicken was also cooked very well, juiciness bursting from the meat as I bit into it. One small oversight however, the kitchen unfortunately did not peel off the produce sticker prior to cutting and plating. Hit my table with the (cut) sticker still on my lemon for the chicken. Didn’t bother telling the server as I saw it as a trivial matter not needing to be brought up.
All in all a good experience. Definitely puts up a fight to the competitors just a 3 minute walk down the street.
Delicious food, friendly staff and fair prices make for a very enjoyable experience. I've been here quite a while ago but happy that I came back with the opportunity to write a review of my experience. Definitely coming back here soon!
Ajisen Ramen was a recommendation from one of my friends who is a regular there and I must say I was impressed with what I ate. What impressed me most was the menu. No other ramen place has offered me so many options. Secondly the seating capacity is much bigger than most ramen places.
I ordered Tom yum ramen with steak and it was so delicious. I would also recommend spicy pork ramen.
If you ask me to go into intricate details then I'd say the service was good but not the best. I also found a small piece of broken glass on the chair next to me.
As far as the service and food goes I would give a 5/5 to Ramen ishin and Kenzo Ramen.
Like I said these things will not bother me from eating at Ajisen ramen again. Good luck.

It's not the best but it's good! Lost to choose from because it's a chain but favor profile a bit lacking! The price is alright comparable to other ramen places!
Great ramen !!!! My favourite by far. The restaurant setting is so cute. Get the seafood ramen !! It's fantastic. As well the beef stock ramen.
This is a decent place for ramen. Every time I go there, I order a new dish and they have not let me down once.
It is well priced (around $10) and the portions are generous.
The lamb I ordered was perfectly cooked. The noodles are not mushy and the soup isn't oily. However, sometimes the meat portions can be a little bit stingy. It also comes with a hard boiled egg on top, rather than a soft-boiled egg. The waiters can be a little inattentive at times.
There are better ramen places out there but this place is better than most.
The bowl of ramen was very good, however. Li commented that the soup base seemed a little saltier than he liked, but I liked it the way it was. The ramen noodles were fine and a nice texture. I really enjoyed it.
Did you know that Ajisen Ramen was one of the first ramen shops to open up in Toronto? Their first branch opened up in Markham at Steeles and Warden and since then, Ajisen Ramen has opened up two more locations including this one at Yonge and Parkview in North York. . It was Nicole’s birthday and we celebrated here. We got a long table that fit everyone nicely. Although I’ve been to Ajisen Ramen plenty of times, because their menu is ever-changing and quite vast, I chose something new. I wanted to try out their fried chicken and so their combo of just a simple bowl of ramen plus fried chicken was perfect.
