Mini holiday south. I've been searching for another Mexican restaurant to dine at and was very happy with the food and service that I received. I've been to Mexico several times so it's important that I eat something that is as close as possible to being there. The guacamole was delicious and the presentation was great. I had chicken enchiladas and my mom had vegetable quesdadillas. Mine was very tasty and hot...my mom would have preferred to have had had different vegetables inside the quesadilla (e.g., green or red peppers, mushrooms) but she was still satisfied with her meal. The best part was the pina colada. I could have downed a few of them but I unfortunately was driving. :(
All in all, I am definitely going back. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. It's a family run business and they're all happy to serve you. I spoke to the chef and he said that he would be willing to make me a tortilla soup if I call ahead (they don't have that on the menu).
Bueno appetito!!!!
Great small spot - food was excellent and very flavourful!
I went here with a friend and even though I'm not a fan of Mexican food, I loved this place!!! Legit guacamole made right before you eat it! Lots of food for the price. I had a beef burrito and it was delicious and simple. Best part? I didn't feel bloated or sick afterwards like I usually do with Mexican food. If I lived near here, I would be eating at this place all the time.
I love the food at Mexico Lindo! And the prices are reasonable. Be sure to order up some Coronas and Tequilas.
Very good mexican food!! Dont be upset about waiting an extra 5 minutes for ur food because they take their time to cook and prepare everything fresh!! And plus, u get free chips to begin with.
Fiesta Azteca (Mexican Lindo). Questionable service- Incredible Mexican food!!!. This being a place I have been to before, I decided to finally get a review down on these guys.
First off, the food here is amazing. This little Mexican eatery on Bayview is a special place with a comfortable food ambiance and great filling large portions.
The service however, is very friendly, but a little slow. Slower than last time, that's for sure. I thought I was simply hungry and grumpy, but no...lol...it was slow. No chips and salsa automatically when I ordered (I had to ask for it) and no cutlery when my food came. The waitress was very friendly and warm, just nowhere to be seen and probably tired.
This place is a family operating location and incredible food, and NOTHING LIKE THE COMMERCIAL WANNABE FAILURE OF A HIGHWAY 66 BBQ NEXT DOOR!!!
Going out to dinner with my girlfriend was fabulous and lots of fun. We craved this little Mexican eatery and the amazing Sangria they make. Hmmm. They use aall kinds of real fruits and it is so refreshing that you don't realize you are buzzed from the alcohol until you stand up. Lol.
We ordered some amazing Nachos and had an incredible cactus sauced lime flavored Calamari and it was fantastic.
My main course was the Burrito Grande with steak strips, and my girlfriend had the Burrito dinner with shrimps. Both were fantastic. There is a real homemade touch to the food quality. Even the rice and beans were delicious.
These guys make a fantastic Sangria. And again, the cactus lime calamari is to die for. So unique and delicious you just can't help but to love every bite and dip your bread in it afterwards.
If this place had a website, and if they were open a little later and perhaps had to people on wait staff at all times....this place would easily be a contender for best Mexican food in Toronto.
I will go back again and again. Too bad they are right next to the worst place to eat in Toronto- HIGHWAY 66.
Regarless Mexico Lindo is a big winner in my eyes.
