We came here today and we had a great breakfast. The food was delicious and the staff was very polite and friendly
I would highly recommend this place :)
Liked their breakfast selection which makes for a nice Sunday brunch option. I love potatoes and they serve it with most dishes in different ways. I also liked their egg serving styles and omelette selection. Would come here for a nice coffee, egg, potato and bread breakfast. The portion sizes are gigantic and you can be wiser with what you order.
Living in Toronto, my family used to visit Niagara Falls a lot. Whenever we hosted out of town guests, a drive to see the falls was guaranteed. My favourite part of the trip was always a stop at one of the 24/7 American diners that had made their way across the border. Today, I can get my all day breakfast fix right in the heart of Toronto at the Denny’s near Yonge and Dundas.
The 24 hours diner is synonymous for their no frills "Grand Slam" breakfast, and there are an abundance of locations worldwide including several in Ontario. Denny's opened its first Toronto location in mid 2014 on the corner of Bay and Dundas. Its central location makes it very close to both the Eaton's Center, and Ryerson University (students also get 15% discount), so it's a convenient spot.
Denny's Toronto offers a menu of classic breakfast and comfort food for relatively affordable prices. Although breakfast seems to be the central focus at Denny's as it's available all-day. I arrived to Denny's Toronto for lunch, and opted for the highly recommended Cinnamon Pancake Breakfast - cinnamon sauce and cream cheese icing drizzled over two buttermilk pancakes. Served with two eggs* and hash browns, plus your choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links and a side of warm syrup. I don't often eat breakfast foods for lunch, but it was available so why now? Judging solely on appearance, I'd say that the cinnamon pancakes was very aesthetically pleasing on my first visit (IG-picturesque).
However, I was slightly less than impressed with the lack of presentation on my second visit for dinner, and there was no syrup between the layers this time around. Luckily, the taste was still the same, which I enjoyed on both visits. Tasty and fluffy pancakes! Overall, the meal came with a substantial amount of food, and I was pretty full by the end of lunch.

I am a huge breakfast and brunch lover. I can literally indulge in breakfast foods any given time of the day. Thankfully, Denny’s (Facebook: Denny’s Canada / Twitter: @DennysCanada) is one of those places that I can always rely on to satisfy my crazy breakfast cravings ANY time of the day. They have an insane amount of breakfast options from your classic toasts, eggs & hash to anywhere from pancakes, egg benny, skillets, burgers, salads – basically you name it!
If you want to stuff your face at 3am with satisfyingly greasy grub this is the place to be. They recently opened this location at Bay and Dundas and thank goodness because it's the only food place in the area open 24 hours. I usually crave peanut butter and chocolate covered pancakes at 3am anyways so I can now count on Denny's ;) . I don't recommend the Pancake Puppies - they're cheap but they don't take as good as regular pancakes. The eggs benedict are pretty yummy. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich because I was craving one - it wasn't on the menu but they made me one anyway which was nice - and it was just what I wanted.
