Pretty expensive. Ordered the Fried Calamari and Soft Tacos. Overall food was good. Came when it wasn’t busy so it wasnt a bad experience.
Nice. The Rushton is definitely not a budget-friendly spot, but it is extremely comfortable and staff are friendly and polite. The seafood risotto was very tasty as was the squash ravioli.
It's not an amazing experience, but a nice one.
Ok first off not a spot for a romantic dinner for two, but definitely a spot for great food. A little noisy but overall a great place to eat. A bit pricey but you have to pay if you want good food. The sea scallops with warm salad is incredible, you only get 3 pieces of sea scallop but the warm salad with mozzarella balls makes this dish complete ( $18 ) the duck confit and rack of lamb were cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned, the garlic mashed potatoes have a nice light garlic taste and have little lumpy bits like good ole mash should. Dinner for 2 with dinners and the scallops appetizer shared was $90 but the staff are very attentive and the food divine. Will definitely be going back.
Worthy of a return. The Rushton offers a relaxing and dim atmosphere with quality service. There is plenty of parking and the location isnt heavily crowded Iike most patio restaurants further south.
The drink menu is impressive and offers a great variety of alcoholic and wine options. The French Onion soup was nicely made, the fried calamari was delicious and although the fish fry was a bit bland and soft, the quantity and presentation was worth its price.
Pricing was a bit higher than average but it attracts a more mature crowd.
Service was prompt and attentive. We will return.
AMAZING!!!!. I know food very well, especially seafood. My friend had been here before and we ordered the same 2 dishes, the warm mushroom salad and the seafood platter for 2. AMAZING!!! The warm mushroom salad was delicious and a very decent size. The seafood platter for 2 was gargantuan, really for 3. Only $54 and loaded with grilled salmon, squid, shrimps, scallops, mussels, clams, and white fish. Incredible. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.
Don't go on the weekend. I have eaten at the Rushton a number of times and the food has been excellent. The only times I have been sorry was on the weekend. There is a different atmosphere, the food is never as good and the staff are not as attentive so it takes longer to get an order..the bill etc..
Amazing food, great service and fantastic ambience.. Five of us went to The Rushton for dinner last night and were very happy with our meal. Three of us had burgers (could be the best burger I've ever had), and one salmon dish - huge piece of fish with a gorgeous risotto type rice underneath and a lobster pasta, lovely big lobster tail - delish. Rob was our server and he was prompt, funny and very good to us. We truly enjoyed our meal and will be back soon.
I started with the Mesculan Salad (baby greens with cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, Belgium endive tossed in sherry vinaigrette).
