Excellent Food and Service. Lately I have embraced Kosher food as I do not practice Kosher standards in my home. I was taken out for dinner last week to a wonderful restaurant located on Eglinton Ave. close to the Allen Road

It was probably one of the best meals I have had in a while.
Almost immediately, our server came to our table with complimentary hummous tapenade and a delicious bread basket. Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil were also placed on the table but we could not stop eating the hummous appetizer!

I had the salmon for my main course. It was perfectly cooked. It was nicely presented on the plate with steamed vegetables (which I had requested) and roasted potatoes. I also order a mixed green salad to accompany my meal as well. Why I was so hungry was a mystery to me, but I was enjoying myself...diet tomorrow and do a few more miles on the treadmill.....well worth it!

I had a glass of Pinot Grigio while my dinner guest went with a robust glass of Pinot Noir.

And for dessert...yes, we had dessert...we shared two desserts.....Chocolate Molten Cake served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream AND Apple Crisp..served warm with a full serving of vanilla ice cream......a Cappuccino and a Latte and I was in heaven! What is it about desserts that makes everything just right?

The food was very good but the service was not. There were 4 of us at the table and we were never served at the same time. The server was friendly but unorganized. For those of us who waited, the food was cold.

Seventy five percent of the menu is vegetarian. Warm décor. Linen tabletop and napkins. Good portions. A bit pricey for the quality of the food. Italian food with many Jewish clients. Is open for lunch and dinner. Soft relaxing music. Big tables. Medium size restaurant.
