The very best Roti that we have ever had and a good price. We moved to Parksville on Vancouver Island and sadly no one here even knows what a Roti is so we hope one day a "Roti Hut" might come out this way. The folks here would love it.
I came for the goat roti and was very satisfied. Our party of 4 was greeted warmly and, despite the very busy kitchen and the line, we felt like we were given undivided attention for our first visit to the Roti Hut. We ordered to eat-in and were pleased with the tender goat roti, although I would have preferred a little more curry sauce. The result was still satisfying and spicy enough, especially with a dash or two of the unassuming yellow pepper sauce on the table. Be warned: this place is popular and parking can be a challenge and is tight in some spots. I only waited 2 minutes though, as some people order to take-out... so the turnover can be brisk.
Great take out spot! Fast service, friendly staff and the doubles can't be beat š Also loving the potato balls with the mustard sauce. All very reasonably priced as well.
This is one of the best places in Scarborough that serves roti. They have fast service and great tasting food. For some reason I love the stew chicken roti with spinach and pumpkin. They also sell a bunch of West Indian snacks.
Amazing food, bad service but it's tolerable. I would go back anytime. Never had a better roti. If you haven't been, do yourself a favour and go. You won't be disappointed.
Seriously one of the best rotis in the city! I've been to Monas didn't like them. They just just enough sauce in with the chicken. And it's sooo filing! Definitely one of my first stops when I'm back in the city.

I recently developed fondness for West Indian food and I was more than happy to find this restaurant situated not too far from where I live. Of courseĀ food was good and I was more than impressed by the ambienceĀ presented. I expected it to be a take out place but seating arrangement and lighting was surprisingly good. I will go back again!
So good. Being Italian, Im one who was never introduced to ethnic cuisine until my adulthood when i started working in Scarborough. I work with many different cultures of people and always had some excuse to not try things like roti. But then i did, and i was in love. The Roti Hut was the very first place i ever tried Roti or doubles or pholouri (sp?). I have tried other places and was extremely disappointed. By far, the Roti Hut is the best ive ever had and i find myself craving it from time to time. So good, price is right and the portions are shareable ynless your starving! I have and will continue to visit here many times.

Nice, clean place. I had the boneless chicken Roti and my bf had the boneless chicken with rice. I have to say I was slightly disappointed. Both of the dishes- the chicken was dry. Luckily the potato and curry was saucy enough to subtly counter it. Hopefully next time it won't happen again. Overall it was okay, not as good I was expecting from all the hype. But will be back.
