Hands down the best Italian in Toronto. Hell, I'd venture to say the best restaurant in Toronto. It's a not fancy, not hipster, but quality ingredients and flavor. 5 effin stars. Wait staff is very friendly to boot.
Very cozy place. Tasty food, good wine and friendly staff.
Paul's been around for a while now. It's a nice local spaghetti joint. My thing is I like my cream sauces and they don't seem to have a white sauce spaghetti that I liked
This is a great neighbourhood restaurant, far from downtown or Little Italy scenes, but for that reason it has good prices and a nice, comfortable, friendly vibe.
It is authentic Italian, despite the distance from Little Italy. Here are two details that show it:
One, no salt on the table. The chef feels he or she has salted properly and the dish should not be ruined by adding more.
Two, veggies are woven into the meal, so even meat eaters eating Paul's Spaghetti don't know they're eating veggies. Last night, I had rigatoni with lots (maybe too much) delicious cheese that seemed to come from the great Turin region. But delicious spinach and red pepper were all through the sauce.
This is a great place to come when you want a relaxing evening.
Great old school Italian food and service.
Off the beaten track but in a good way.
Wonderful patio in the warm weather.
Prices are comparable to other places in the area.
The pastas taste home-made and are well portioned incase you are hungry. The atmosphere is cozy as it is a fairly small place. The price is reasonable and ranges between $15-$25. We will be back!
Delicious food, good portions, excellent service, and a quaint atmosphere. If you get desert, you must try Judy's cake!!
Great little old school style Ital resto. Mostly pastas on the menu (hence the name) and a few mains. Good value and pleasant service
