have 1 lb mild medium chicken wings, 1oz Caesar and small potato wedges. I'll definitely try hot next time. waiters are welcome and friendly.
I had craving for wings for lunch on Saturday, so we headed to Duff's on Bayview.
I decided to stay with 1 lb of the original Buffalo wings recipe ($11.50). The have 8 different levels of heat, ranging from Mild to Armageddon. Since I was was more into flavour than pain, I chose the Medium Mild (one up from mild), and this was enough for me. Just enough heat to complement the flavour.
SWMBO is not really into wings, so she chose the Greek Salad, topped with Grilled Chicken. It was a competent salad.
We were there after the lunch rush. Service was fast and friendly.
Just go there when you are in the mood for wings and beer - they are really good! Super crispy and decent size. Buffalo sauce is very good, exactly what it should taste like.
However, I also tried their fried zucchini and fried calamary both of which were pretty uninteresting. Their fried sweet potatoes were pretty good with the chipotle sauce. Wish they had some non fried appetizers, i came out wanting to chew on some lettuce or something - everything was fried and the 1 celery stick per person was not enough to offset.
Amazing food. Nice place and I would refer this to my friends and family.
staff is nice and the place is clean.
a+
Great hot wings. I would say a tie between St. Louis and Duff's for best wings in Toronto bar none!
Well worth the heat. It's been a while since I last visited Duff's, but it won't be the last. A friend of mine who was crazy about the hottest wings you can find suggested that we try it out. The atmosphere is bright and friendly. Of course we had the wings, which were awesome. And yes, we tried their hottest hot sauce available. I enjoy spicy food, and occasionally hot. As much as it burned eating those wings (2 or 3 only for me), it was well worth it. If anything, the experience alone was fantastic. I know many places are doing this type of thing now, having really really hot sauce. But this is an original hottest wings place. Give it a go if you haven't yet.
The Very Best!!. These guys do it the way it's supposed to be done! Service is always very fast and friendly. Huge, FRESH chicken wings, deep fried, with a selection of basic - delicious - sauces...mild/medium/hot/extra hot/BBQ/honey garlic and a few others. No obnoxious breading, and no ridiculous list of "100 sauces". If you're looking for authentic Buffalo Style chicken wings, Duff's is your best bet in Toronto. If you prefer heavily-breaded freezer-grade mini-wings dipped in some fussypants mango-strawberry-chipotle concoction, you'll just have to go elsewhere.
Delicious.. I normally don't eat wings but thanks to urbanspoon I decided to make an exception and check Duff's out. Well worth it. The wings had lots of flavor and they were tossed in lots of sauce, exactly what you want wings to be. If in the area, I will definitely return.
Best wings in Toronto. I go a few times a week, everything on the menu is great. I could eat the potatoe wedges for the rest of my life. Easy to leave spending under $15 including tip.
Best Wings in TO bar none!. I've been eating here for over 10 years. Since then there are Wild Wings popping up like Starbuck's. Nothing beats Duff's for wings in Toronto. The key to this place is consistency. This can be the hardest thing to maintain with the chicken wing. They cook them the same - perfectly - every time! They don't have 90 sauces, but that's a good thing. I'm sick of the novelty sauces at some of the wing chains - chocolate on wings? seriously? They have 10 solid sauces. I recommend Death, but make sure you have immodium at home :)
