I visited for lunch, and while the food tasted really good, was a reasonable price, and the service was good, it didn't settle well O.o that's unfortunately the reason for the lower rating.

Food: It tasted delicious! I had the sizzling pan (lamb) and it was VERY hot but so cool watching the meat sear in front of your eyes, and it was a very generous portion (I took half home for leftovers, not that I've decided yet whether or not to eat it).

Price: Very reasonable for the portion. The lamb dish was $10 and could be two meals.

Service: Quick and polite bit nothing extraordinary. We were able to pay and go quickly enough.

Summary: A small venue but the food tastes great and the prices are good. Not sure if it was the food or me that's the problem now, but despite the food not settling well I'd be willing to try the venue again. But if it happens again then I'll know for sure.

Korean BBQ offers an all you can eat menu at a good price. Seven of us dined here on a Tuesday and we all enjoyed our experience. There are so many options on the menu and you cook your own meat which was a new experience for me in Toronto! The service was efficient. The restaurant does not accept debit which is a bit frustrating but overall it was a lovely evening and I recommend it!

First time visitors, really enjoyed our experience. Food was fresh with great flavours. The do-it-yourself grill adds a unique twist to a dinner out, but may be tricky to balance the grilling/eating/conversing. Service was great, and really helpful.

There was also a huge selection of meat and fish: Asian spiced sausage, marinated beef, Kalbi (short ribs), pork, chicken, salmon, tuna, calamari, Ox tongue

Possibly some of the best Korean food I've eaten in Toronto/Mississauga.

Their BBQ is absolutely on point. The Spicy Chicken and Spicy Beef Bimbimbap are also amazing, not to mention that they come in massive stone bowls.

The prices are pretty hard to beat. Our party of four got two orders of all you can eat barbecue and the two Bimbimbap Stone Bowl's mentioned above for $45.

Our server was incredibly courteous and sweet, coming back to fill a glass anytime it was empty and ensuring our orders of meat kept coming to us in good time.

When my friend said that she was really hungry and wanted to eat “so much food right now”, I immediately suggested Korean Grill House. Walking over from a trip to Eaton’s Centre, this KGH location was about a 5-10 minute walk away.

KGH is pretty nicely renovated and is next to a hotpot restaurant called Made In China. I think both are from the same chain because to get to the washroom, you have to pass through the neighboring restaurant.

There was only one waiter on staff and he quickly brought over many plates of appetizers and set up the grill for us.
My friends liked the fried tofu and potato appetizers the most. We were also given a paper to write more orders on and I think we got thirds of those.

There was also a huge selection of meat and fish: Asian spiced sausage, marinated beef, Kalbi (short ribs), pork, chicken, salmon, tuna, calamari…Ox tongue was also written on the order sheet, but they ran out that day, so I couldn’t try it.

The funniest thing about coming here with other med students is how much they bring up anatomy class. When we ordered the liver, none of them wanted to eat it because they saw the little pores in the liver and made remarks about portal veins and hepatic arteries.(Thanks, very appetizing.)My recommendation would be the marinated beef and pork, I found these tasted the best. Though the beef was a bit fatty.

I also enjoyed the experience of cooking the food yourself, although for some items, I think we overcooked it. When we were at the second round of ordering meat, the waiter also changed our hot plate.

At the end, I think we ordered 2 rounds of everything and 3 rounds of certain appetizers. We could probably have ordered more but we were pretty full by the end of it. I have only been to one other korean grill place in Chinatown and it was located in a lower/basement level area. Compared to this place, KGH is not only cleaner, but also the meat didn’t taste too salty and over-marinated to mask the non-freshness.

Only one negative side – depending on how you perceive it: If you’re coming with a smaller group of people, like the four of us, you might end up sitting very close to other patrons as the tables are connected. We just happened to sit with a big group of guys who ended up being drunk and rowdy. But, if you like the close quarters and find it exciting, then by no means see this as a bad thing!
