Very good place that serves and makes delicious varieties of filling platters and fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable, the staff is highly professional and friendly and the service is prompt.
Super cozy and romantic. Every dish we got was great . Cauliflower soup, caprese salad and surf and turf. So flavourful but also has a homey "nonna's kitchen" taste to it . Staff is great and attentive , fell in love with this place.
Eat lunch here often place hasn't disappointed me yet. Have seen some negative feed back so all I can say is maybe the lunch time chef is better. My friends always say they were happy when I take them there and prices are not bad. The waiter though sometimes is a little rude but he is not always in and it's not over board rude but I agree that they can be more friendly.
Awesome place for dinner. I liked the food and service. Spectacular atmosphere. Like the pizzas more than any pizza chain. Great value for the total package. Highly recommended.
Very Satisfying. We came by on a quiet Sunday evening. The food was delicious! soup was made from scratch and it showed, Pasta was rich and so flavorful! I must say, as much as the food was lovely, the service was really what made our dinner perfect! Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and very charming. Thank you for a nice family dinner, we will be back!
We came to here after leaving another establishment. We were a walk-in and the restaurant was buzzing, but not full. Our server, Kyle was great. I haven't been here in quite some time, and my wife used to frequent the place when she worked in the area. Service from him and the food runner was excellent! Wine list compact but very reasonably priced. I ordered the Lamb Shank and it was good overall. My wife ordered the pasta special for the night Lobster with oyster mushroom brandy sauce and she loved it. We recommend this restaurant for its good food and service.
We live in the neighbourhood and we go to baldini food great service is ok but just not same without tony i hope sal and tony can work together as a team i belive two gentlemen can make baldini hot italian restaurant again in leslieville are and toronto thx

Cozy, unpretentious resto. This is one of our local faves -- consistently good Italian comfort food. Great, friendly service, generous portions, and among the best calamari we've had (on par with Pizza Libretto's). Haven't tried the pizza, but have tried a variety of other dishes and have enjoyed them all. This isn't wildly adventurous cooking, but when everywhere else in the 'hood is doing that, sometimes you want a predictable and satisfying meal.
Unexpected surprise!. We took a gamble and purchased the Living Social deal with little or no expectations because a lot of places with online coupons that we've tried in the past always seemed to disappoint. Fortunately, this was the BEST italian meal we've ever had in Toronto!
As far as the environment goes, the place is very small but has a great ambience. The servers were great and very attentive. The meals came out a little slow but that wasn't a deal breaker.
The food was amazing! The grilled calamari was our favourite item but the penne alla vodka and chocolate caramel cheesecake were close seconds. Our steak entree was perfected cooked medium rare as requested and was on par with many steakhouses (not something you generally expect from an Italian restaurant).
Overall, we highly recommend it and will visit again sometime soon!
