This is a really nice retro breakfast place. Excellent food. Great service. While it's a bit awkward to get in, you just can't go wrong at Flo's in Yorkville.

Grilled cheese was tasty, but portion was small. Bread was thin with two slices of ham on the inside. I think thats a little stingy, regardless of being a diner. Meatloaf was moist with plenty of gravy. Salad sides were wilted.

Beer was fresh and reasonably priced. Service is muted, but efficient. Great patio with tons of umbrellas and shade.

Service was friendly and helpful.
The rooftop patio was perfect for the lovely weather. They have tons of umbrellas so it was not overly hot.
The portions were fair. Not generous in relation to the costs but not stingy.
Ingredients were fresh. I had the going green breakfast special and it was full of nicely (lightly) seasoned veggies that were not over cooked.

The small glass of orange juice my friend ordered turned out to be $5. That was a bit of a shocker but this is Yorkville so I guess we should have seen that coming.

The turkey sausage was huge and amazing. I'd for sure go back.

Flo's is kind of out of step with the trendy Yorkville area. It offers traditional diner food at a relatively low price for the area. Great grilled cheese sandwiches here.

I have a love hate relationship with Flo. At the best of times the food is delicious but sadly it is inconsistent. Despite this and the somewhat high prices (...3$ for a can of coke ?!?!?) this spot is always packed. Flo's diner offers a large variety of breakfast and lunch menu items that will appeal to most, if you are in the area and feel like diner foods it is worth a try. Perhaps you will leave pleased.

Flo's in Toronto. Nice diner with an all day breakfast. Waffles are nice and light. Sitting outside on a sunny Sunday is really pleasant. The immediate are has a nice small town-like feel to it, even though it is in the middle of the city.
