Majority of the table opted for The Big Schnitz, offered in the form of either chicken or pork. It was a plentiful portion that many noted to be of greater value than the typical Winterlicious trios.
My own picks of French Onion & Ale Soup (taken from the Goose Island Brewhouse menu) and Beet & Quinoa Salad were a far cry from the standard pub fare at other ends of the quadrilateral. It garnered a few quick glances at first, but wasn't fundamentally too out of character.

A group of us went to "Bier Markt" for drinks and to catch up.
They have a great selection of beers on tap and in no time we had our selections in front of us. After a few pints, we were a bit peckish and decided on some burgers which were very tasty indeed.
We had an enjoyable night out!
Love the range of beer they have to offer. It's a chilled out place, having great ambience, good music and food. The onion rings were slightly salty but they were juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, the sweet potato fries were super comforting.
I love this place for various reasons the decor , beer selection, food quality and great service. The variety of beer available at this place is awesome, I have not seen a collection of beer so vast at a restaurant. Its definitely heaven for beer lovers with so much options to chose with and try.
One can always find something to eat here with a pint of beer, though the food selection is not as huge as the beer section. But still the food quality is good. I have hosted few office dinners as well here and have loved the service provided by the staff.

Great choice of beer—there's a type for everyone! Good options for food as well (but can be on the pricier side), amazing fondue. Go here if you're craving different types of beer but be ready to spend more money.
This was my first experience eating at this restaurant. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. It's extremely dark in the restaurant but we luckily sat near the window. It was somewhat crowded where we sat but we made the most of it. My boyfriend had the burger which he loved. They accidentally gave him french fries but came out 5 minutes later with onion rings for him. I had the potato flat bread pizza. It was different and not something I'd typical choose. Overall it was pretty good.Their drink menu is nice and large which always nice.
I was treated to a nice meal here over the weekend. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Burger ($20) which is described as "sushi-grade tuna with sesame and soy marinade, wasabi aioli, napa cabbage and cucumber slaw" with a side of Markt fries. The burger was really tasty. The patty was really interesting and I definitely enjoyed it. The toppings brought a nice balanced flavour as well. I ordered gravy on the side that went great with the fries. Add a few Hawaiian made Kona Golden Wave Ales and away you go!
Was here with the team a couple of days back. Great fun place to hang out. Not many veg options though. They serve with a smile. If you are looking to Hangout with friends as a group would recommend this place. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, they love the blue jays

The beer selection is excellent here. Very large beer menu, anyone could find something they like, even someone that doesn't particularly like beer (or doesn't think they like it) could find something.
The food was very good, no complaints there. This would be a great place to have a bunch of beers and apps. I am a vegetarian and there wasn't too too much on the menu for me but I adore cheese so I was satisfied with my baked brie and vitagreens salad.
The baked brie was delicious and the crispy quinoa croutons on the salad were very interesting.
We sampled a couple different beers. The service was pretty good. Only problem was we were sitting beside the sidewalk and were bothered for change twice during our meal by people panhandling.

Fab beer list and atmosphere. Kids welcomed but I'd recommend avoiding busy weekend nights. Favorite dishes include the wurst board, poutines and calamari. Stroller friendly!
Bier Markt never disappoints!!
Came here to dine-in one evening, was happy to be seated right away considering it was Saturday night. Our waiter was super friendly and very attentive throughout the whole evening. We ordered the wings and calamari to start, and both were delicious! For mains we tried the Pesto Pizza and Brie Burger, we loved them so much that we went back to get them for take-out two days later. Highly recommend! Also love their selection of drinks.
The duck wings have a lot of flavour. The sauce dry rub adds a nice kick.
The brisket burger wasn’t bad and the fries were good but the jus the burger came with didn’t taste like much too be honest. I liked that it came in a pretzel bun though.
We had the pink elephant drink which was delicious!
Bier Markt is an excellent spot whether you are going for a beer and appetizer or for dinner. My current favourite appetizer is the delirium cauliflower bites! If you are lucky enough to go in the summer they have an exceptional patio!
Nice spot with great beer selection. Very spacious inside and its great to catch a game in as there are multiple TVs and screens. I’d recommend trying their 1L stein, believe its only for Oktoberfest but the Weissbier was delicious and very well priced. Interesting and delicious cocktails as well. Service was friendly and fast too. Would recommend.
Very pub place , they have a few itemps to eat , food was good and service was friendly. They offer lots of different styles of beer and the place itself is very spacious.
It was a wonderful afternoon at the Bier Markt in Toronto (The Esplanade location). My husband, son and I...went there for lunch in celebration of Father's Day on: June 29, 2022. It is an upbeat, fun-filled atmosphere. The perfect place to be. We sat outdoors on their lovely patio, enjoying life. All of our food options were VERY delicious. I had the Atlantic Salmon which was super yummy. We would especially like to THANK Mia. R., our wonderful server. She made our visit one that we'll always remember with great happiness. Mia is a true people person. Her most welcoming and beautiful personality makes others feel happy. Mia's contagiously MARVELOUS smile matched the sunny sky. Bier Markt is VERY LUCKY to have such a fine employee because Mia truly takes EXTRA care of her customers. She presents herself in a very classy way. Mia definitely provides a RED CARPET FEELING for everyone. THANK YOU sweet MIA for making our time at the Bier Markt a Wonderful Time. You are appreciated!!
