Winterlicious at the monkey bar

My wife andI along with another couple booked this restaurant for winterlicious 2020.

Overall the service and dinner was excellent. My wife had the rack of lamb alongwith the other couple. I had the pecan crusted chicken breast. Dessert was very good. We would definitely come again.

Remarkable depth of flavors.. Went here for Summerlicious 2014 and it was a great dining experience. The restaurant certainly lived up to its reviews regarding the quality of food and generosity of portions. The decor was very elegant and not over powering allowing the food the beauty of the food to take center stage. The staff were knowledge and attentive. The speed of service was incredible considering they were not extremely busy and every table was treated like royalty. We started off with our appetizers, a lovely watercress and asparagus soup and my fried had the romaine, bacon and new potato salad with creamy garlic dressing and parmesan cheese. Both were bursting with flavor. We both chose the same entree, grilled tandoori-spiced tilapia with cucumber red onion relish, vegetables and sweet potato fries. The dish was executed perfectly, and the bright colors of the ingredients and the freshness of the vegetables made it a feast for the eyes as well as our stomach, Our choice for deserts were ice cream sandwich with chocolate sauce and flourless chocolate walnut torte with raspberry sorbet. Both were made in house. The rich dark decadent cake pared with the tartiness of the sorbet was divine. I would give this restaurant 4 stars for high quality food, a memorable dining experience, great service and idefinitely requires a second visit.
