Really enjoyed the atmosphere and drink menu at this place. VERY cool decor, perfect lighting; although a DJ was set up behind the bar,the music wasn't too loud to talk to my date. Sat at the bar which had huge comfortable leather chairs, and had a "Tom sellick" scotch cocktail - which I recommend . Smokey. Awesome place.
Simply amazing ! I went with 2 friends after the TorontoWaterfrontMarathon and we all tried the aged short rib burger with cheddar, bacon and the most delicious sauce and bun! Best burger any of us had ever tried. The white sangria was a nice yummy treat and ended it with a delicious salted caramel latte. The service was the best we had while in Toronto and the atmosphere was hipster yet intimate. Would definitely go back!
Excellent food and service. The burger was fantastic. We were going to theatre, server understood our time line and ensured we had plenty of time to get to the show
Great ambiance. Excellent service. Burger and fries were $23 so not cheap! Food was great though. Good patio in the shade for people watching and beer. I’d go back for sure.
The Drake 150 is a unique and never disappointing dining/drinks/eclectic joint! Always my first choice, when within a couple of blocks. Menu is always changing, never anything than awesome, and if you want the crowd pleaser - just get the burger. It is awesome.
Came for the drinks. Had 4 cocktails between the two of us and all of them were great. It's interesting that they organize the drinks in terms of how boozy they are. Had the bread plate with the house made ricotta. The maple oil drizzle is exactly what I wanted; it added a slight sweetness which paired well with the cocktails.
Biggest set back is that this place is pricey. $16 cocktails are the worst thing to happen to Toronto's bar scene.

I went on a Friday night and though it was busy; it seemed just right for a Friday Night Date Night. The atmosphere/crowd seemed to be late 20's - early 40's, professionals & very fun. The cocktail & wine list was great and throughout the night we had the chance to try a few different selections. The food was also great and we really enjoyed the size and quality of our apps (12 oysters & beef tartar). Our mains were also well done & all the food came in good time.

The work group had our monthly lunch and D-150 was suggested.
As we were a large group, our tables were set already and were seated immediately. The lunch menu has limited number of items and was debating about Funnghi Pizza or Zucchini + Corn. Was not sure how a pizza would be as I have had from Pizza Libertto. But decided to go for something different rather than the usual.
Many in the group either had a burger or the pepperoni pizza (comes uncut and you are provided with a scissor to cut your own slices and also topped with sesame seeds).
The food came in quickly and one first glance it is more of a salad and did not seem like a dish. The plating looked boring and in a way glad that this dish turned out to be a vegan dish. Now the individual pieces
The hummus delicious and unique. The fried corn (tempura) was amazing. The corn crunchy and very well seasoned. On first bite, wanted more of it! The potatoes some charred and patty pans (squash) were good. The patty pans were better. King Oyster Mushrooms were plain and just a couple. The zucchini I thought would be the star but were bland. The spice sprinkled on the dish tasted like a mixture of black salt, mango powder, and cumin. Almost like Chaat Masala. Overall very good dish, but the quantity was very disappointing. Left a bit hungry.
Because we were a large group, the mandatory 18% gratuity was added and the staff were courteous to let us all know of the same. Some restaurants have some individuals where they don't make you aware and perhaps hope that the customer may add more.
Would go back for a special occasion.
Situated in the heart of the Financial District, The Drake’s Drake One Fifty, recently launched their weekend brunch. Chef de Cuisine, Jon Pong, and his team has created a menu to celebrate the season’s light flavors and bountiful produce that support many local purveyors and farmers. The menu includes brunch favorites like eggs benedict, pancakes, skillet French toast, and steak & eggs. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending an intimate tasting where guests got to sample the new brunch menu, and completed a hands-on cocktail masterclass (Caesar) with their head mixologist.
Drake One Fifty is a hot spot to catch up with friends over a drink. I love the atmosphere and the buzz surrounding it. Menu items are surprisingly affordable though the selection is not as broad as expected. Servers are very attentive and charismatic. Definitely recommend for after-work drinks.

Located in the heart of the financial district, Chef Corrado and his culinary team have created a unique menu celebrating the season’s light flavours and bountiful produce that support many local purveyors and farmers. Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to sample a few items from their newly launched brunch menu & also had a quick Classic Drake Caesar 101 Session.
Loved the food and ambiance. Walked in for lunch as we were close by and spotted the place. We were greeted upon arrival and shown a table. The place wasn’t packed because it was a weekday and late lunch time.
We ordered a couple of drinks and they were amazing. One was the La Belle Vie which was : Grey goose vodka, St German elderflower, broiled lemon cordial, pear butters and sparkling wine. This was created by a resident drake bartender.
The fancy fries with truffle butter were a massive portion and was very tasty. We also ordered the Cajun shrimp sandwich and it was amazing. Came with a side of salad and that was on point too.
The food was served in a timely manner. The staff were nice and did a great job.
Would definitely recommend and will revisit.
Nice atmosphere. I can't speak to the overall quality of the food, but what we had was good. I was recommended the burger and it was good, but not memorable. My friends enjoyed what they had so maybe I just made a weird choice. The price and quality of the steak was similar to The Keg. If you had the same meal in the United States it would be significantly more expensive.
The ambience and feel of dinning here is surreal. Romantic, cozy, and casual all at the same time. The servers are nice, welcoming and very informative. The food is amazing, I tried oysters for the first time and wow not disappointed at all. There is photo booth on the premises so bring a $5 bill to capture a moment.
Wonderful brunch experience(I think the experience would be 5 stars) they had a lovely live band playing classic upbeat songs at the perfect volume. The ambience was excellent. The food was pricey, it was tasty but the flavors were strong with not a lot of depth to them!
The place was a superb choice for our Sunday girls’ brunch today. The service was great and the food was so delicious and well cooked. There was a talented live band playing but the noise level was still good enough for conversation and laughter. Parking was very easy in the same building underground. I highly recommend Drake One Fifty!

Restaurant-bar in the centre of the Toronto downtown area. It is a good option both for lunch and evening outings, with a standard selection of meals. The food was good, although slightly too salty. The staff is very polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Upon entrance, a host takes temperature and contact info to enact tracing in the case of a covid19 outbreak.
