Went there on Christmas Eve, ordered the tomahawk 44oz with the Australian fillet Mignon and wagyu fillet mignon.. for the tomahawk being 44oz it did take a while to cook so we did end up ordering the jumbo prawns which I was told they were amazing from my companions as I am allergic to sea food.. than we had some blue blood old fashioned drinks which came in a smoked glass container, once they brought it to the table they lifted the container and the smoked aroma escapes and fills your table adding smell to your drinks which just gave it that extra umph .. the deco for this place, was nice has a beautiful large window which displayed various drinks... what made this night special was the snow storm you could see through the window made it a winter wonderland.
.... than the food came out.....
If you love steak than this place is a must, ordered everything medium rare - food was cooked to perfection, they give you three different corse salts to match with your taste pallets, no words can do it justice for the tomahawk, it came out juicy leaving the bone it brought out deeper flavours and just added to the presentation however you do have to work your way from the middle outwards to taste the true taste as the outer edges are well cooked... over all if you love service, atmosphere, and steaks this place is the place to go.
make sure you check there menu before you go for pricing as this place is on the higher end but well worth it!
Great ambience, Fantastic service, and Excellent wine selections. I particularly enjoyed the decor as it included the spectacular sculpture “Surrealist Angel” by Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol’s “Cow”, Mr. Brainwash’s quintessential “Life is Beautiful” and “Purple Reign”. I also love the idea of beautiful unique designed decanters. The aromatic truffle oil for the bread was luscious. Five of us ordered several appetizers to share. Prime Steak Tartare in bone marrow canoe, very tasty. Seared Marieville Foie Gras, disappointingly overcooked, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was delicious and Castle Kale salad was hard to go wrong. We shared a medium rare castle dry aged 35 days Tomahawk Steak that was cooked to perfection. For dessert I would recommend the Earl Grey Creme Brûlée or Baked Alaska - best I’ve had in Toronto. To top it off, the table side demo was fantastic. I enjoyed my dining experience at BlueBlood. It gives me a sense of the aesthetics and delicacy, top notch service. Quality of food was fantastic. This is truly a gem in Toronto.
Lovely ladies night for a birthday! Had a great table, food was amazing and our server, Jordan, didn’t hesitate to give suggestions and help us with our choices anywhere from wine to food. Vito, another server, visited our table to make sure we were enjoying everything. Missed the managers name but he was also quite friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Highly suggest the restaurant from food, to ambience, to their amazing wine list (including pictures of bottles and descriptions). We were seated immediately upon arrival, not rushed at all through our courses.. apps, mains and desserts were perfectly timed, giving sufficient amount of time to enjoy and digest before moving to our next spectacular course! The venue it’s self is stunning. We look forward to coming back, the experience as a whole was well worth the drive and the price.
We had the seafood tower, Caesar salads, ribeye steak, 2 wagyu filet centre cuts (one with goat cheese brûléed on top), the mushroom sauce and peppercorn sauce, 3 sides (broccolini, Gorgonzola gnocchi, and truffle mash), earl grey creme brûlée, and the wine was a brunello (donatella cinelli Columbini).
Thanks to all the staff at BlueBloods for making our night exactly what we were looking for and then some!
