Went to the eglinton location last night with a party of 7. Our table was ready upon arrival, and meat was brought over almost immediately. The meat quality was top notch as always. And the service was incredible. On top of the 15% included tip, i tipped an additional 10% and tipped one particular server $10 cash. "Charlie" made a great night even better and helped give us the best service I can remember getting in my life. I had to make a point to seek out the manager to tell her just how highly we thought of the restaurant, the food, the service, and most of all "Charlie". Our dining experience was so top notch that it makes me question the validity of the poor reviews that I've seen some people leave.... sounds more like sour grapes and doesn't even seem fathomable. Keep up the great work.
We were here for Summerlicious 2017. Besides a 10 minute delay in seating us, we had a great time.
Our Host(ess) Taylor was very sweet and informative. She asked if it was our first time and put us at ease. She kept coming by to look after us and make us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Our Brazilian Meat carver Mattheus and our Serbian Meat carver Dusan, were constantly replenishing our plates with more and more beef, chicken, bacon wrapped beef and salmon steaks.
The grilled pineapple was to die for and my friend also praised the fried banana dessert highly.
For such a small amount of money we had 8-10 different kinds of meat. Also at the buffet were easily twenty more items. But we stayed with the carved meats and lots of chimichurri. Standouts were the parmesan encrusted beef steak, the garlic steak and the cheese infused steak.
This is by far the best Summerlicious 2017 deal so far. Grab it.
Delicious food buffet, all you can eat! I think I had everything, and was delighted with the amount of choices. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. The live music adds an element of exotic ambience to the whole feel. Be prepared to eat and have great time. I'll return again with a group.
We made a reservation for 10 people online and everything was ready on time. Parking available right out front. Staff were very nice. Prices for kids were reasonable. Expensive for adults. Great items at the salad bar. Many different types of meat. I added some photos. Waiter did keep forgetting to bring stuff but eventually we got everything. I think I had the meat sweats for a while.... Hahahaha
Not what I had imagined at all. I had heard many things about this place. In glad I went! It was great and I had a great time meeting new people for my friends birthday. The presentation and service was superb. Towards the end of the night the salads in the salad bar was not very good. Kinda soggy, but the meals and meat options were mouth watering greatness. Highly recommend !
Amazing. The salad bar was great, especially that lasagna and mac-n-cheese. The different types of meat was amazing, so if you're a meat lover, I highly recommend it. Finally, the fried banana and signature corn bread are a nice sweet finish.
Very enjoyable and good impression when we left. Wide selection of salad and meats too. Definitely a must try and return. Came for summerlicoius which was a great deal. Good service, good food, good live music, but a bit loud and hard to hear. Things that weren't so great were the mac and cheese, lasagna, chimichurri steak, and lamb. Baked goods, steaks, and chicken were amazing.
I really like the meat from here. It reminds me a lot when I was in Brazil. That been said however, do not expect to have a true Brazilian experience. The buffet was very bad. Not a lot to choose from. Also the menu was very old and it shows signs that should be changed. On another hand, the meet was awesome, the table service was very good and they had some girls in carnival costumes that were dancing with guests and also guys doing "Capoeira" (Brazilian dance/fight very common in Northwest of Brazil that was brought by slaves 300 years ago). Also, be aware that it is $52 per person but you can eat whatever you want and they have very good food and you can experience a different culture. Worth it to try a different culture. Funny thing; They gave me a post card saying that it was from Copacabana but I was in Rio de Janeiro a couple months ago and I told them that it wasn't Copacabana but another beach in the east side... lol
Exceptional service. Fast service. Amazing food, great atmosphere with the renovation. Clean establishment. Been to this location twice now. Have had zero complaints both times.
