We stumbled upon this place by accident and we loved loved loved it! The servers were friendly, the owner was there and was helpful and fun, there’s a wide variety on the menu to choose from, everything we ordered was excellent and no joke- the pancakes were the best I’ve ever had!! I highly recommend this place. If I lived in town, this would def be my new favourite place to eat!
Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. So delicious, that we went twice and brought friends with us the second time. Highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes. Soooo good! And hands down, the best caramel mocha latte.
New York style bagels done however you want! Great set up in the shop. Walk up to the counter, tell them the bagel you want, they toast it fresh, then you walk it down the line of condiments you want on it. They've got everything a great bagel shop should have. Just went for plain cream cheese this time, but next time I'll be doing the proper lox bagel setup with salmon and the works!
This place is delicious! We had pancakes with strawberries and a veggie bagel that included egg, spinach, onions, and cheese. The food was great but the table service was a little slow. The server had 3 tables and it took her a long time to come to our table. I wasn't sure if they took the order at the table because it took her so long. Besides that everyone was nice and helpful. A tip for your first time if you're ordering a bagel or pastry go to the end of the counter opposite of the register and they will build your bagel there. A lot of people were getting confused on what to do.
Great bagel spot - check out their cheese bagels.
Service: 8/10. Once you get someone, they’re good to work with when they can hear you. There’s definitely some room for improvement, but - then again - it’s not a 5 star kind of place
Environment: 7/10. The bagel racks look so good and the overall environment is ok. The dangling signage in the front looks cheap and tacky. I’d also say, it always feels messy in the front area.
Food: 9/10. The reason we keep coming back is the bagel. It’s a dependable local spot that we find ourselves grabbing a couple dozen bagels every time.
The best bagel I have tried in Toronto so far. So there in early morning, try toasted fresh bagel with butter, whatever cheese you like, and whatever toppings you wanna add.
Patio is coming as well. A good place to go for brunch.
Overall it is good quality.
I got the Belt. It came with a good portion of fries. It was well cooked and delicious.
However, it would make more sense (pricewise) to get a take out if you live nearby.
Also, I like their bagels (the bread itself). It’s very nice to get and make bagel at home.
The building itself is not somewhere you want meet someone for the first time!
Great food, nice staff. Got the triple decker turkey club sandwich on challah bread with home fries - really good and generous portion. Also got a smoothie - good but a bit pricy for what it is. Indoor seating isn’t great, outdoor seating looked nice. Definitely recommend.
First time having a bagel in Toronto and we were blown away at how tasty they were! I'm not a huge fan of eggs but they were done perfectly. The service was also very friendly. My only criticism would be that the potatoes were extremely salty, and I would have liked more options for bagels without egg.
