The restaurant is nicely decorated and the hostess was very attentive.
This is a Chinese buffet and the the selection of food was varied and the trays were always filled. The food was delicious. There was always wait staff available to fill beverages glasses and remove empty plates.
The price is high but was certainly worth it.
Manderin on Eglington/Warden in Scarborough. They are very curtiouse . However I have a service dog allowed everwere & they really fussed terrably. Regerles hes a entire 14 lb clean poodle. Who hides under the table without begging or bothering others.
I now have a wheelchair-regardless of the accomadation I can call ahead about-they edge at me coming at a quieter time of day. A year ago this same reterant had issues with I belive mice-they quickly resolvd. Lastly they only seem to wan to cater insie to buissness cass folks & foks doing we partes. Despite that their food is great and they put A great effort in puting it out enough. Not anyone offers to help me. go around to get my food. Shame they have enough staff-not enough room.
I came here with the family for my mother in law's birthday this past Tuesday night. Since we didn't make an reservation, we had to wait a few minutes for a table. The people working there were very nice, friendly and informed us about the specials they are having for the night which was roastbeef and chicken dumplings!
The restaurant cleaniness was good but my boyfriend did mention that he saw some flies around the deserts and fruits.
The food tasted really good and they had great selections to choose from. The pricing is fairly decent. For 3 adults, 1 child and 2 fruity drinks plus tax and tip costs $107! Recommend!
Mid autumn festival is vastly approaching and once a year around this time I visit Mandarin as a tradition to celebrate the season!!🍁🌝🌰
The entire restaurant is filled with pink lanterns that adds to the festivities. There are special pumpkin related dishes such as: pumpkin black bean sauce chicken, harvest pumpkin soup, pumpkin tempura..etc... There's also mooncakes served but in all honestly it's not the best mooncake. Regardless of that fact, it's appearance is a must for the season. There really isn't anything extravagant about Mandarin. The food is very low key and exactly what you would expect at a typical buffet. However, I do associate every visit with warm greetings, friendly hospitality and thoughtful service which is what I find exceptional. I've included some pics below of my evening! I got a free fortune told, a set of mini lanterns and even cotton candy! What more can I ask for? Happy mooncake festival everyone! 😄
It's a great price if you know how to eat. If you can eat just 2 plates of food plates of food then you will get your money 's worth. They have a great selection of great food. Everything from sushi to mashed patatos and waffles all day. They have fruit, ice cream and pastries and jello for desert.
Excellent!!. Awesome crab legs and food selection and quality!!! Service was amazing and extremely fast!! Would highly recommend it!! Best buffet in Toronto!!!!
Like it. It's a good buffet restaurant food and series pretty good
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very spacious. There is a great variety of dishes; this includes all types of meats, salads, fruits and plentiful desserts. The food was great; the seafood is fresh and the meat tender. They offer fresh sushi bar and weekends and holidays include crab legs. The service is really good, and the hostesses are friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a great experience dining at Mandarin.
The restaurant provides a great variety of selection from chinese cuisine. You can try squid, muscles, pizza, noodles, chicken etc. The ambiance is great and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The place offers only buffet, the price point is a little higher at 20$ but i think its worth it. The selection of deserts is jut amazing, you can try different kinds of cakes and ice creams. I would definitely recommend for a lunch buffet.
