Family run restaurant. If you are looking for a quiet, boring place this isn't the place to come. Great food, kitchen right in the middle, lots of hustle and bustle and service is top notch. We live out of town but every time we come to Toronto we make a point of having lunch or dinner here.
Great experience as usually. Everything was so flavorful. The staff, are always warm and welcoming. Yummy little Italian place!
This is a small and family friendly restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is fabulous! Great wines and traditional desserts... Highly recommended...
I ordered Pollo alla parmigiana. I love chicken parm and this was delicious. There was a light coating on the chicken and the chicken was really tender. The tomato sauce was tasty. The spaghetti was tossed in a garlic oil and was good. It was a nice contrast to the tomato sauce and cheese.
I also had chocolate raspberry tartufo which was yummy.
The staff were friendly and took good care of us.
Nove Trattoria is a small Italian restaurant. I was promptly seated and served regular water (with the option of sparkling water). One of my friends was running late but the restaurant wasn't too busy. We did feel a bit rushed as they kept coming by so we ordered an appetizer to share. The beef carpaccio was good.
I had the fettuccine Della nonna which was grilled chicken, porcini mushrooms and spinach. I liked it and found it to be a good portion. It could use a bit more of the cream sauce though. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here.
I've been twice. Excellent food & fantastic service. Love this place! I'm addicted.
It's really small and cozy inside, and it seems to hum like a well-oiled machine. Love the heaters and the low, twinkly lighting. I get the impression that this restaurant spends its energy on quality food & service, leaving pretension out of it altogether.
I've tried their calamari, grilled seafood salad, lamb ragu pasta, the arugula and pear salad, and a pizza special and a pasta special. - No, not all in one sitting! Two visits, sharing items both times :)
Everything was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We'll be back again and again, for sure!

Out for dinner with family and friends and what a lovely dining experience had by all! The food was phenomenal! The ambiance on par and the service was fabulous. We will be going back.
Small and friendly. Nove is one of our regular haunts, when we can get there. The welcome is really friendly, and the food is fantastic.
Because of its size, it is often full, and a reservation is usually needed.
Reminds me of a small trattoria in Florence. Beautiful rustic cuisine, family run, always greater with open arms! Ricardo and Manuel always have an eye to make sure you are having a good time. The Panacota is Devine
Went with a group of 9 on a Saturday. Since I'd made a reservation the night before, we were seated immediately. The decor was nice, servers were friendly, and the service was prompt. The place looked to be quite busy. Food arrived quickly, and everyone agreed it was delicious. I had their ravioli and it was perfect. A friend of mine had his pizza arrive a little later than everyone else's dishes, but that was because the first pizza wasn't made to satisfaction, so the server had asked to have it redone. Desserts were also great. For the quality of food and service, the pricing was very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
Our go-to night out. We love this place. It's the real deal! The atmosphere is friendly and fun, but also cozy and romantic. The food is out of the world - especially the fresh pasta, and there are always specials to chose from. Great wines, deserts that shouldn't be skipped. What more could you ask for?
My wife & I go here at least once a week, and would always recommend it to friends and always take our visitors here for their farewell meal.

Good ambiance and a nice quiet side for outdoor seating. The service was good and attentive. The meal came with bread to start. I got the special for the day. The carbonara pasta was delicious and the serving size was just right. Spent roughly $20, not including tip.

Authentic Italian restaurant! Awesome food and family atmosphere. This restaurant is suitable for nice dinner with couple glasses of wine. Small cozy restaurant with friendly stuff. Waitress who served us and chef were super chill and were talking with us until it got busy. We got there right after they opened (around 5:30) and were lucky to get table. So if you wanna go to eat real Italian food you should book a table!
My boyfriend and I had takeout from here. We ordered the vodka sauce and Bolognese. I'm generally a Bolognese girl, but the vodka sauce was unique and really tasty! The tiramisu was delicious as was the caprese salad. So many places skimp on the cheese in a caprese, but not this place. We ordered bruschetta as well (yes we were piggies this night!), which was just as good as everything else. Loved our midtown Italian feast!!
Service and staff are excellent. They are very friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty and good quality. The desserts are wonderful to try. Wine selection is decent. Ensure you have reservations since the place gets very busy and there are not a lot of seats. Would recommend trying their daily specials.
What a terrific place for great pasta dishes and pizza in the Yonge and St. Clair area. A good wine list, and great service (thanks Lisa). You won't go wrong going here on any night of the week. Sit by the open window on a warm summer's day and enjoy watching the world go by while enjoying your dinner or lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the Involtini for an appetizer, and the penne Aglio e Olio as a main course. And you must try the light, fluffy and airy Tiramisu!
Decided to go to this resraurant on a whim and was not disappointed. Servers were very polite and service was excellent. The restaurant itself is fairly small and cozy and you can tell they really care about their customers here. Service was fast and food came out hot. I ordered the Risotti Kaiya and it tasted amazing. Portions look small but it was very filling. Highly reccomended if you want some good Italian food.
