Overall our experience was good. Service was at the top, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was fine, sadly I will not order anything again from what I have tried tonight. The best dish from what we have tried was strawberry tiramisu. Unfortunately, we had too high expectations from this restaurant and they have not been met…Don’t think that I will return again.
It was first visit to Sotto Sotto and definitely won't be the last. As a starter, we ordered the grilled octopus and for the mains, we ordered lamb chops and mushroom pasta with truffles for an additional cost. The octopus was very soft - probably one of the best I've had. The mains were also great, but was a bit disappointed at first when the pasta came because I was expecting actual pieces of truffles on it, considering the additional price. Howe the disappointment didn't last long because the taste was absolutely amazing. I had high expectations for the restaurant and they definitely met my standards. The service was top notch with the friendliest servers.

Always delicious! And, a classic and fabulous Italian restaurant in Toronto. Food was delicious, service great, and atmosphere is cozy and quaint. The pastas are soooo good.... and authentic italian. Felt like I was back in Italy for the evening.
I truly love this place the pasta and everything is Amazing. I ordered the Penne vía Frattina and Strawberry Tiramisu. The Penne vía Frattina was delicious and creamy and the pasta was amazing. This is the first time trying authentic and Tiramisu and I can say it is really good. It is creamy and most and melts in your mouth. I truly loved this place.
Very lovely upscale restaurant. Vibrant atmosphere and the staff was so attending to our needs. They offer valet service, coat check chef special. Overall a 10/10 experience. Totally recommend their brushetta!

It was nice to sit there and enjoy the atmosphere.
At the end of the day you can say you had better burrata, meatballs, octopus or whatever. And for sure I had some incredible stuff while i was in italy. But my god the burrata salad was so good the taste lasted in my pallette even after the grappa cleanse. Overall it was pricey but a great experience. We ordered the specials of the day with a bottle of red with some extra appies. It was a really fun time.
