Best jazz place around, especially for Dixieland with the Hot 5 Jazzmakers on a Saturday fternoon. Beer selection is top notch - there's a brew for everyone's tastes. Food is flavourful and filling. Great portion size. We had nachos, salsa and guacamole, then the Moroccan stew with naan and the black bean wrap with sweet potato crisps. A suggestion would be to put a napkin under the crisps to catch any excess oil. Friendly service, good timely manner, given that it was a busy Saturday. A cosy, fun and warm place to be on a blustery winter day.

Awesome spot. Fresh food and great beer selection. The Burger I had was the best I have had in a decade. If you are lucky enough to be there when the cookies and cream beer is on tap it's a must.

Great Bar! Amazing IPAs'. It was my first time trying it and I generally don't like beer but I loved it! Has an amazing pool table where we played too. Had this amazing dish with cheese and meatballs and veggies! I couldn't find the exact name on their online menu.

As a non-local, I happened upon this bar in the vicinity of Massey Hall about an hour before going to see David Sedaris. I was pleasantly surprised by the convivial scene; the place was packed but not rowdy; loud but not so loud that I couldn't hear my friend over the din. I didn't have much time so I asked the waitress to recommend a beer that would pair nicely with the lamb burger. The beer was excellent but sadly I don't recall what it was. The lamb burger was inspiring, served on soft pita bread with yogurt-garlic sauce and sweet potato fries. I will definitely return when I have time to linger, or perhaps when David Sedaris returns to town.

Found this place from BlogTO in the best beer list. Let me tell you it definitely has the best beers and the food was amazing. We ordered ribs and butter chicken poutine which we loved. Our server was amazing and we would definitely go back.

Atmosphere A+. Food A+. Service A+++. Found this place on Google Maps--as we're not from Toronto--and decided to give it a try. Amazing. We want to give a huge shout out to Alicia (sp?), our incredible server (truly talented and in her element... you remember service this good), but the great and pleasant service went well beyond just our server, including bar staff and kitchen staff. The location is in an old stonewalled basement and doesn't look like much from the street, but it is beautifully quaint inside with multiple fireplaces, intimate lighting, and two bars for those busier nights. Want to play pool while you wait for your food? $0.25 / minute, charged by the minute so you're not committed when the food does arrive. And speaking of food, I chose the Beef Ribs which take a little longer (25 minutes) but are more than worth the wait. So moist, tender, and delicious. My wife had Jambalaya, which she absolutely loved. Finally, the beer list is extensive with multiple offerings in every category (Ales, IPA's, Wheats, Sours, etc.), and they'll bring you a "splash" sampling, if you're not quite sure. They also offer take-out beer, if you're staying in a nearby hotel and are looking for a few cans to take back to your room. Overall, an amazing experience and sure to become a regular dining location every time we're in town.

I came across an article from BlogTo, so many options of crafted beers to try out, and the food me and my cousin ordered last night was the lamburger which includes the curvy fries and the beef ribs with neatly cut potatoes. Taste still lingers in my mouth. I am not exaggerating lol. The service is remarkable too. Definitely a must try out.

C’est What is such a great little spot, tucked away at the corner of front and church. It’s been around a while and has a good following. Perfect spot for after work drinks and snacks. It’s big but also very cozy. They have a cute fireplace, ample seating and some pool tables. The beers are great and the food is good. Go check it out!
