Are you looking for some delicious comfort food? Something that you can shovel into your mouth on those sad, lonely or too lazy to cook days? Maybe you just don’t have the time and need a quick bite.
If the consequences weren’t morbid obesity with a side of congestive heart failure, I would eat a Carrie’s Corner double bacon cheeseburger with a large order of poutine every other day of my life.
The hamburger patties are massive! So beware if ordering a double burger.
Get every last calorie you burned off in the past month, put right back on and then some with one tremendous carb loaded meal.
My only issue was with the chicken burger. It was absolutely loaded with cranberry sauce that was horrifically overwhelming and sloppy. I may be willing to try it again some day, but light on the cranberry this time.
I haven’t had it in a while, but their Spaghetti Sunday was always delicious.
There is also a mini grocery store with a few of the basics. Milk, bread, eggs etc.
No indoor dining. There are a couple of picnic tables in front of the store if you want to eat it there.
I'll admit.. Whenever I am cruising along Red River Rd, I always make sure that I pass by this place to order my favourite Caesar's salad or double bacon cheese burger which, for its good-sized portion, can practically feed two people.. Lol.
Had a cheese burger with a small caesar salad here today. The burger is big, juicy and so delicious. The salad came with garlic toast and the best caesar sauce ever. Such a tasty meal and very filling. Fair price and great food. Highly recommended. Note: that the food is for take out only.
