Been here a hand full of times and never had any problems with foodnor service. Great family run place and always accommodating with requests.
I seriously love this place. I think the people complaining are just complainers because the food here has always been excellent, love that the menu shows exactly what you're getting and that they have a service bell at every table so you aren't bothered until you want to be. My favorite part is the service is incredible. Every single time they are smiling so big and they are the kindest, friendliest wait staff I've experienced.
The food service was amazingly fast. The servers were polite and happy.
Price was reasonable.
We had the B combo and it fed two adults. It was like the combo A but had an extra plate seafood.
UPDATE: They no longer sell Korean-Chinese type noodle soups, so no more spicy seafood noodle or black bean noodles ;(
Really liked this place especially that they have lunch specials (choose a soup dish and a BBQ meat). However their noodles have been somewhat hit or miss as of late. They use hand-pulled noodles which is pretty rare, but nowadays they're a bit to firm instead of al-dente. The soup of the Jjampong (spicy seafood noodle) tastes great on good days, a lot of seafood flavour compared to some other places, but the last time I went it was somewhat bland as if the noodle flour's flavour ended up in the soup.
Good service and set up. We did bbq. I especially liked the soup served with the ban chan. The portions do feel bit smaller compared to my last KBBQ experience.
Everything was good: food, services, price is reasonable. My friend and I had the traditional Korean course set B, the portion was big for 2 people, $28/ person.
We tried the octopus and beef hotpot and we liked it. Large servings. Delicious meals, great ambiance. Black bean noodle is also good. Wide range of menu. A bit pricey but it's worth it. Best to eat in groups
As a Korean BBQ virgin, this spot was definitely the right place to start. The meats were well marinated and the rice rich in flavour. The host and waitress were very nice in helping us with the grill and replacing it every 5 minutes or so to make sure our meats can be cooked evenly. While the meats were very good, their seafood selection is minimal and average at best. I would give this place a 4.5 but the price for the BBQ platters are quite steep. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and would most definitely return again.
We used to go to Insadong a lot but this place is our favourite Korean restaurant now. The food is delicious and the place is very clean and the service is good.
Really enjoyed everything about this place! The decor of little Korean people with big mouths were awesome, and the variety of different meats was great. Good place to come with a big group of people and getting the combos since they have a variety of meat but is quite expensive. Meat tasted really good and was just so tasty. Cooking the meat is always a fun experience as well. I also really enjoyed the Iron pot steamed rice with vegetables. Only downside was that I got a bit of stomach ache from eating so much meat and sauce that had a lot of sodium in it, but it went away after 10-20 minutes. Definitely want to come back here for another feast.
Tucked behind Guildford beside ICBC. Place is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable. Food is good.
Best Korean I've had in a long time. Once upon a time there was a nameless restuarant along North Road that served the traditional 7-10 course Korean feast in a private Tatami booth. I mut admit, I've been chasing that experience for a long time now. When I came accross this place (literally by accident), I had to give it a try. While it certainly doesn't provide the same experience that I once had, it does a good job of the multiple course meal. You could tell that all the dishes (including pickles) were made in-house and there are some real complexities of flavour here.
If anyone knows of other restaurants serving the traditional multi-course Korean Meal, plaese let me know.
Thanks!
Awesome place to get your Korean bbq craving satisfied! Ordered a couple pork set. High Quality of the meat given! With delicious green salad! Definitely will return for more items on the menu.
Came on a weekend for a Korean BBQ combo for two. Spacious restaurant with friendly and efficient staff, they were quick to attend to all my requests. Place was very busy! They must be doing something right. Food was delicious, although meat portions on the smaller side.
This restaurant is one of the best Korean BBQ that we go to. Ordered the LOVE Combo, portion was enough and filling. Great customer service!
I loveeeee this place! The food is amazing. Customer service is superb and the price is very reasonable also! We had the chicken and beef meats for our bbq, both spicy and regular bbq flavour - it was delicious! Their japchae is my all time favourite. The bunchun's and soup they serve with the bbq are all really tasty also. No complaints on my end. Would highly recommend to come try them!
We ordered a large portion of their fried chicken (extra spicy). Since we taking out, we also got a 10% discount. I expected it to a tear jerking level of spicy since the cashier asked us multiple times if we’re absolutely sure we could handle that level of spice. 😁 Though the chilli level was disappointing, the chicken itself was crispy and tasted great (slightly on the sweet side though). I will certainly return.
The food here is excellent, and the staff were amazing and friendly. They even had a robot to help assist serve the food which was pretty neat. Very authentic, I have been to Korea and I can testify that this is what you would get in Busan.
