Perhaps not the best, but certainly up there (considering the price). Had the brother-in-law out for a few days, and he's vegetarian; ordered for pick-up: Mutter Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Masala and Chilli Paneer (white rice was ready at home).
Was told 20 minutes on the phone. It's a small operation--we only saw one guy there. Did take longer than 20 minutes, but that also makes it more likely fresh. There were quite a few pick-ups as we waited.
Food was great! Everything was the correct spice level. There was also enough for lunch the next day for three of us. Really can't complain for $40.
UPDATE: new owners, with new prices. Called to order, and asked what the price was for a few dishes. Everything was $3-4 more per item, sort of ... when I mentioned it was quite a bit more than before, she said they were actually $1-2 less than the price noted 30 seconds earlier. Variable pricing seems to be the business model.
Best in Fleetwood if not Surrey. I've been going to Five Star Sweets for years now and hands down this is the best quality and bang for your buck in Fleetwood and if not Surrey. The butter chicken is excellent with a large amount of Chicken in every order and the prices are great, The Naan bread and Samosas are terrific as well, this is a take out restaurant so if you want to have great Indian food in the comfort of your own home try Five Star Sweets out because I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed.
Five star sweets has great food there butter chicken and naan is really tasty i hav been eating at five star sweets for 5 years and its always been tasty food and it is very cheap and they also have a great menu five star sweets is truly a 5 star restaurant!
Great tasting food made by great people. Good is great, but their menu is designed for feeding a group of 4 or more, as they don't have many combinations available for 1 or 2 people. But the good is great, enough that I want to drive to Surrey just to get some.
If you live in the Fleetwood area or close by, this is the place to satisfy your craving for delicious Indian food. This is not a place to take your date too, rather get their menu and order for take-out and enjoy their food at home. Our favourite is the Chili Chicken which I think tops their already amazing Butter Chicken.
