A couple of old friends wanted to treat me to a birthday meal. In previous years we went to ABC and then Faye’s when they took over the space for a few years until they closed last year. Looking for a similar atmosphere conducive to easy conversation while having a palatable menu we decided on this location.
First impressions were good, it was popular but with tables available. The space they are in is tight but they use the space well. Staff were busy and seemed pleased to be there and worked efficiently as a team.
My wife and I ordered the California Chicken burger with fries. I really enjoyed the Guacamole which brought all the flavours together nicely. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
My friends both ordered breakfast with scrambled eggs toast, bacon, and hash browns. They didn’t comment as to what they thought but finished everything and it visually looked tasty.
We will likely make this location our new annual meal spot.
My favorite place to eat! Great food in a timely fashion and great service! The staff there is personable and on the ball. The chicken tenders are clearly never frozen and DIVINE! I could eat them every day.
Best. Breakfast. Ever!!!. Great food, great service....great time!!! The staff were friendly and organized, the food was scrumptious and the place looked great!! Apparently they have just undergone renovations and boy can you tell!

Its looks so clean and nice inside pleasantly surprised outside its a hidden restaurant behind a shoppers loading we had a huge booth...
Staff waiter was a young fellow, he was kind, fast and happy to help serve with a friendly attitude. :)
I do recommend the hidden relaxed place for families or couples looking to dine out n about.
It's near Liquor store, Safeway, shoppers drug mart n Petro Canada.

Good old Ricky's. With so many trendy brunch spots charging $25+ for a decent amount of food, Ricky's will serve you twice as much food for $18. Great for a traditional breakfast that leaves you full for hours.
I enjoyed coming here for dinner,and for my 35 birthday, and I had a blast. The waitress that took my order was very, and friendly. I had a blast with my family there on my birthday.
I now come here once a mouth now with the Meet Up Groups that play board 🎲 🎯 🎮 European games, and Catan.
I use to go to Toby's pub in Vancouver to play board games, but it closed down due to cov-19 and they change it to a liquor store instead of a pub because not enough business there.
I glad that there is one close for me in Surrey to go to then goingall the way to Vancouver.
Rickys has a nice quiet back room for events to host with family or get together on long weekends or Thanksgiving, Christmas parties, Easter, and birthdays.
