Can't go wrong with their brisket, sausage and ribs or get the platter that comes with all that and then some. Staff is good. Parking can be tricky on weekends when mall is busy.
The good:
Good portion sizes and the price is okay. The service is friendly. A family restaurant.
The bad:
The dine in location isn’t overly clean, no healthy menu options, the service is a little slow.

I first ate at MB when Fairview was the only location and the Memphis Platter was under $40. It was a great deal then and still is at $60 ish. I was a fan at the start and even now that Vancouver has a few true barbecue places around, I still am a fan. You should know that the owners were at some point able to be judges at "Memphis In May", a truly legendary barbecue contest, and I'm sure much of their know how comes from that part of the world (thus the name). It has a casual bluesy atmosphere (great tunes) and big comfortable booths (talking about this location now). I had a smoked brisket sandwich which looked a little small to me when it arrived but the generous portion of tender moist brisket was delightful and filling. The sauce is smoky and slightly sweet with molasses in there somewhere. Sides with the sandwich were baked beans (fries if you prefer) and coleslaw. If you are a vegetarian, don't order the beans. $13.60 is not a cheap sandwich but it is totally worth it. Buy the cookbook too. I got mine years ago and always make their rub.
