My wife ran into our neighbour walking in with a pizza a while back, she couldn’t stop telling us how wonderful the food is. Tonight we ordered the Meat Lovers and Traditional Pizzas and I really enjoyed both. The crust is not like any other pizza location I have been to. I’d compare it to a flatbread crust , it’s crunchy and thin and the toppings are heavy and flavourful. Lots of cheese covers the entire pizza, fresh ruff cut peppers, and their meats are delicious. The best part of this experience was the staff running the restaurant. They are so friendly and personable, it was like being welcomed home and fed besides. I fully intend to return and sit down to enjoy some other menu items.
Perfect little hole in the wall. I would like to first start by saying, I was surprised. My husband and I have been living in the area for quite some time and never did I think I was missing out. We had an amazing evening with appetizers, their house red wine, which by the way was exquisite, and we both had the lamb shoulder which paired it all together. The service was amazing, restaurant was very inviting. Kitchen was very organized and clean and I had no problems spending my date night there. Thank you so much for a lovely evening, and I will most definitely be expressing my gratitude and opinions to my friends and family.

This is the 'go to' restaurant in our neighbourhood - the menu is wonderful and the service..... especially when provided by the owner, Vic, outstanding.
I take all our visitors to this small family run restaurant on Fraser Highway in Fleetwood. I have friends up north who prize their visits to the LMD - for the night out with family and friends at Assinis.
This restaurant has been around a long time; first on 96th, when you would be lucky to get a seat because all the Surrey RCMP cops were having their meal break there ....
This longevity is a sign .... this neighbourhod establishment ROCKS!

Best Greek Food hands down!. Assinis is truly a great place to go to eat. The food is always good, the staff is friendly and the owner is amazing. This is my go to place when I want a good meal, I'm never disappointed. The portions, atmosphere, service and food is all worth the drive. I was introduced to this restaurant by fiends of mine about 4 years ago, they have been going there for about nine years now . I have been there with just three people for a small dinner, to having Vic close the restaurant for a private party where we pack the place. Doesn't matter how many people , your service and food is always top notch. I have never had a a meal I did not like. I could eat your Greek salad everyday, the steak is always cooked to perfection , the cheesecake is to die for. The only problem with this Restraunt is........and this is a big one...........I blow my diet every time I go there. You make each meal and dining experience memorable . I wish Vic and Assinis great success with many more years of business and look forward to going back again soon for another great evening out. Thank you. PS: wish you delivered to Langley.
Great little Greek place in Surrey. Great chicken and lamb souvlaki. Greek salad was great too! Highly recommend Assini in Surrey!
Was ordering lunch for a get-together at my folks' place. We've gone to some of the other Greek restaurants in the area, and living in Van, we've experienced quite a few. We've also owned/operated a souvlaki place, so we know a little bit about the cuisine.
The meats were tender, done to perfection. Very good flavour in the rice, tatziki, etc. Not overly salty - which is a common complaint about a lot of restaurants. The soup offered with the meals was definitely home-made, and once again very flavourful.
We'll definitely be making Assini our 'go to' Greek place in Surrey, and highly recommend it to everyone else!
Great food and the owner was a really cool guy. Some of the best Alfredo I have ever had. Make sure you try the Greek spring rolls. A must try

I just ordered the lamb shank & chicken souvlaki and it was great! Hot & fresh! The driver who delivered my order was fantastic! Very nice & personable. Wow. The only thing that was missing was the extra yogurt sauce. But overall great!
Catering. We have dined at Assinis many times and ordered in so often we have made friends with their delivery person (who is so friendly). We love his Greek salad, best dressing I've ever had, and his chicken souvlaki is spiced to perfection. Then there's the tzatziki, so good! But this last week was the first time we had them do some catering for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Vic, the owner/chef was so easy to work with, he put together an amazing menu for us, there was an abundance of delicious food, we even had leftovers for the wedding after party. The cost was very reasonable, and I would recommend them highly, we were very happy as were all of our guests.

Great service and food!. We have been Assinis diners for years enjoying the food and service they have to offer. Assinis Greek restaurant has the best Lasagna I have ever had. Some say its soggy, or tastes like its out of a can, no it is perfect! The noodles taste fresh made, it has a magical spicein the sauce, that after years of having, I still can't figure out. All of the food at Assinis is good, healthy, large portions and fair pricing.
The service that Vic and his team offer is fantastic, they are warm, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for your dining experience.
Their take out is good too we entertain large groups often and rely on Vic to supply us with the Greek salad, potatoes and rice to compliment our other offerings for the meal. It always goes and our guests rave about it.
If you would like to have a great dining experience, without the chain restaurant air or cost, enjoy a meal at Assinis you will be glad you did.
Don't forget to ask Vic for a "Mythos" Greek beer ( for the "Untappd" fans out there).
Ordered the calamari dinner and fresh tiger prawn dinner. The calamari portion was huge and the tiger prawns were melt in your mouth. The potatoes were mediocre but the rice was good. The Greek salad that came with the dinner was amazing with their homemade dressing, we even brought a jar home which they sell.
The owner Vic was serving us all night and making sure we had everything we needed. We will return and bring friends to enjoy this great place!
Great food... he makes this salad dressing that was so good I bought a jar for home. We had the Greek salad, Kalmari dinner and the lamb shoulder.... ssssoooooo good. The pizzas looks amazing.

What a friendly, tasty, cozy, Greek restaurant. I was greeted by the owner who served us and asked him to recommend a menu item that best captures a traditional greek dish. He recommended the lamb shoulder and I ordered it, my wife ordered prawn souvlaki and have included pictures of both. The meal started with a greek salad which did not disappoint- very nice dressing with feta, kalamata olive, onion, tomato, bell pepper, and cucumber. Next came the main course, lamb shoulder with rice pilaf, lemon roasted potato, veggies, and a lemon wedge. All was very delicious and portions were super generous. I enjoyed the house white wine from the Chaberton estate winery tasted like Sauvignon Blanc but might have been a blend. It paired very well with the meal. And for dessert I had a cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. It was a perfect ending. The ambience and decor of the dining area felt like a Greek family story where every item/picture had some memory and meaning. I enjoyed the conversation with the owner as he checked on us. I would highly recommend this place to those seeking some delicious Greek food.
We ordered a Greek Pizza tonight. When I arrived to pick it up I was greeted by the very friendly and welcoming owner who chatted with me, wanting to know how I was doing and how my day was....very impressive. I was even more impressed when I got home - the pizza was amazing. It was loaded with all the ingredients, beautiful tomatoes, fresh vegetables - we devoured it! The only downside to our order is that there aren't any leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend this place!
I’m a long time Surrey resident so I’m a little ashamed that I’d never tried this restaurant before. I went here with my wife for an anniversary and we had a wonderful experience.
The atmosphere was very cozy and European. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. And the service from Vick and his staff was phenomenal. Best lamb I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go again and couldn’t recommend it more.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday dinner last weekend. Finally after 2 years of lock down. Had over 17 people for dinner. We ordered take out. The food was absolutely great! Everyone commented on how great the food was. My sisters who never takes food home took the chicken souvlaki home. Same with my brothers took home pizzas. After everyone left there was no more food which we usually have lots of food left over from the other restaurant. We also loved their very own House Greek salad dressing. We would like to thank you Vic for making this dinner a success!!

Our school recently did a teacher appreciation lunch with Assinis Greek Restaurant and were super impressed. We highly recommend Assinis for catering. There was so much food left over, the teachers had lunch for the following 2 days! Not to mention the food got rave reviews, ordering was a breeze, and they delivered! Thanks Assinis!
