Mek's delight food experience was totally authentic. Satay and tum yum soup was out of this world. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and relatives.

Great food always made fresh to order, ive had the Roti Canai, beef Rendang, laksa, mee goreng and thry were all the best i have ever had in Vancouver Area.

After going to Malaysia, I've fallen in love with the food. This place offers amazing Malay cuisine! Have tried the Roti Canai, Curry Chicken, Mee Goreng, Fried Rice, Spiced Chicken and Three Taste fried fish. Loved it all, especially the spiced chicked and the fried fish for the three taste sauce alone. A home made, spicy yet sweet tasting hot sauce. Eating in may take a while as its a small family run operation. I always do take out.
A humble Malay/Thai bistro situated near Guildford Mall in Surrey. Those who have been here tend to come back because of their authentic dishes. Although the place is quite small, the service is quite attentive.
Our favourite dishes include their kampoeng fried rice, sambal fish, tofu, rendang and Nasi lemak. The food is generally full of flavour.
Will definitely come back to this place to try other dishes!
Our friends brought us here this evening. The food was so authentic and so good. The owner was very friendly. We have a tofu dish called Tahu Goreng, Lamb Curry, Sauteed Vegetable, and Three Spices Fish. Highly recommend the fish! I would like to try Laksa and Beef Rendang next time with our friends.
Finally checked out this little Malay restaurant. Atmosphere was relaxed, small place, clean. The decor reminded me of Malaysia. Service was relaxed, very Malaysian, which is not stellar by Canadian standards. But the owner was very friendly and welcoming once I started talking with him. The food was very good. I can tell that they use good ingredients. Stir fried vegetables came with 6 or 7 different kinds of vegetables, not overcooked, good and crunchy. Roti Canai, curry puffs, and Kelantan chicken curry were all very good and well-balanced, very flavourful. Will be back.
The food that this restaurant delivers to your plate and table is authentic and exceptionally tasty. My favourite dish is Prawn Mee Goreng. Other top choices are Laksa and Rendaang. A small place where the first priority is the food quality!
AMAZING Malay food! My boyfriend and I have been craving it since we visited Malaysia. This amazing little place has authentic Malay food. The owners are super sweet. I will certainly be back with all my friends! YUMMMMM
It's the best Malaysian food Surrey has, there isn't another choice worth mentioning. Kampong fried rice, Laksa, Chicken curry, Beef Rendeng. They are all on point The three taste fish will wake up and melt your taste buds if you like spicy food. If you're looking for authentic Malaysian Halal food, this is your new home. They also update their menu with new dishes every so often. Try it, it won't be the last time you go to Mek's delight.
Jackpot!. Incredible food, by far the best malay-thai in the lower mainland. A family-run establishment where you can REALLY taste the love in their food! I kid you not, I love everything (and yes, I mean EVERYTHING) on their menu, my favorites being the roti with curry sauce, beef rendang, lamb biryani, laksa, and three spice fish. My husband's go-to is their mee goreng with chicken and fried chicken rice. Now, as I mentioned this is a family-run establishment, usually with only 2 people staffed, sometimes just 1. This is an extremely casual and laid back restaurant which is another thing I love about it. But naturally, on a busier day, you may not get the most prompt service and the food might take a bit longer to come out but it's always hot, fresh and totally worth the wait!
