We had an excellent meal from Spice of Nepal on Friday. We found that the flavors were new and exciting, food was fresh and delicious.
We are still raving over the Chicken Mo:Mo and Nepalese style chow mein. Looking forward to our next meal there!
Loved the chicken momos. Spicy and sweet combination. Took the lamb thali too.. omg. It was like my home food- Mauritian food. Diriz dhal brede cari pomdeterre.. next time will try the Thukpa and the chowmein.. I am going there for sure.
this is the best place if you want to have indian style momos. i loved having chilli and fried momos. even the owner of the place is really nice

I have wanted to come here for a while and I'm so glad we finally made it. The owner who is from Nepal is proud of his place and rightly so. While much of the menu may seem similar to the south Asian dishes we are used to, there are many unique offerings and that's what makes me the happiest. We started with Nepal's version of dumplings; Mo:Mo. We chose Deep fried chicken Mo:mo and they were excellent. Ground chicken, vegetables, herbs and spices in a little dumpling. Served with 2 tomato based sauces; one is make me sweat and hiccup spicy, while the other is mild. Next came the Jack fruit Curry, a totally unique and delicious curry. This was a new experience although since hanging around with a Filipina, I have become familiar with Jack fruit in a savory role. Chili Fish was our final taste and it was also excellent. Not too spicy but rich and full of pepper and onions. South Asia has many different regional cuisines just like China, Italy France and every where else
for that matter. Don't let yourself get into a rut. Discover something new. This place will let you expand some horizons. Its a comfortable, friendly room with a smaller banquet room. They do take out!
Good place with friendly and attentive staff. Ambience was good, food is tasty with good portions. Serving was with full precautions. They will also ensure double Vaccination and ID to be shown for entry. They are very polite and humble. Makes you feel like home and keeps checking up for anything to be filled in even like plates to be replaced or refilling of beverages. Place is located a bit away from Newton centre but you won't be disappointed visiting once. Reasonable rates for the ambience provided and nice to be with family and friends.
Incredible!!! Never tasted such a variety of momos! The best quality momos you can find in Surrey. I came all the way from Vancouver just to taste their momos. The owner, Bishnu is a warm and welcoming person. Will certainly visit again!!
Really nice vibe, it gets a lil busy in the evening but has a very calm and quite vibe for a wind down date or just a getaway. The food portions are very good for the price and so is the taste. The drinks service is slow though, slower than actual food, which I find kind of amusing.
Visited this place on Monday late night so there was no issue in parking availability and seating in restaurant. Staff was really helpful and polite so full stars for same. Cleanliness was ok, music was good and being a weekday store was not very busy. We ordered Nepal veg chowmein and chicken momos. Food taste was average but presentation was good. On menu it is mentioned thin noodles but those were still thick. Momos were freshly steamed so good in taste though they took around 25 mins to serve the same. Overalls experience was good. Deducted 1 star for chowmein.
Ordered delivery to try the lamb momo and lamb Tass. The lamb tass had a nice spicy kick to it; it was hot but still very flavorful. The lamb momo was good, went well with the various dipping sauces provided.
This restaurant may be the original Nepalese restaurant in Newton area before Taste of Himalaya started. Hard to say which one is better but now you have more choices for Nepalese food.
Absolutely my favourite place to go for momos! I’ve tried couple different restaurants in Surrey and Vancouver, but this place is the best so far! Super affordable pricing for a good quantity of momos. The momos are so juicy and flavourful.
Great variety of food. I liked the pan fried Momo's. The food is very spicy, so be cautious and order plenty of water. Overall good experience, with good service
