My wife and I went last night and had the Valentine special. 3 courses for $50 including drink and gratuity. What an amazing deal! I always thought of The Loose Tie as a bar not a restaurant. But after the experience last night I was enlightened. It was the best dish I’ve have in this city and the service was top notch. You really need to check it out. It’s sooooo good.
Had my 40th in the private room. Food was amazing as was the staff. Went back a few weeks later and had an anniversary dinner. We both loved it. Great for casual small plate eats but also offer some lovely entrees. One of the better places to eat on George st.
An amazing cocktail bar with amazing music and staff! Louis, Aaron and Alexi are amazing! Good place to go to if you want to get away from the traditional Irish music in a pub!!
First off, their drink menu is unreal, all super delicious. I've tried most of the drinks there and I've loved almost all of them. The food however can be hit or miss. My first time there, everything was great, and tasted fantastic. The second time, everything was SUPER oversalted. Still would recommend, if only for the drinks alone, and I'd still totally get more food there, as I'd guess this was a one off

First time in this lovely, local establishment and we all had a superb time! Went downtown to see local musicians @baccalieuband who were playing on @GeorgeStreetNL as part of #Rocktober in @DowntownStJohns. Menu selections were varied and tasty, higher end prices; great cocktails but few to choose from (I suspect due to current Covid-19 restrictions) ambiance was super sleek and cool, clientele & staff were beautiful, trendy and happy. Highly recc Loose Tie for a great night out, especially when live music starts you out and you can seque into DJ or dance music 👍🏻

The chicken was amazing! And you have to try the Two Weeks of Heat! Best drink I have ever had in my life!
Nice lounge with great cocktails. Loved the gimlet and sazerac. Nice to see a higher end lounge on George street.
Solid bar, fairly expensive drinks tho so unless you want a well made cocktail you're better off drinking at home first
