I've been here on 3 occasions now.
Once for brunch, where I had the brie stuffed french toast. Delishious.
Another time I tried the duck burger. Juicy and delish, the orange cream cheese accompanied it perfectly.
My 3rd time dining there, my friend and I shared a order of maple bacon mussels. And they were amazingly delish!!!
We could have drank the mussel broth out of a cup.
After the mussels, we each ordered a small plate meal, I had the deep fried mozzarella, and my friend had the surf and turf, we tried each other's and were quite happy.
Even with a "small plate" we were both stuffed to the gills.
Couldn't stop talking about the food all evening.
Went last night for dinner. The server and service was great. The food was excellent from beginning to end. Loved the option of picking your starch/sauce/side with your steak, and everything was cooked to perfection, probably the best steak I've ever had. I also tried the halibut special my partner chose as their meal and was equally impressed with their selection. Definitely will be returning.
Had a great brunch here! The QV strawberry guava beer was very nice, but the meal took the cake. Poached eggs over fish cakes and the seafood chowder was well worth the upgrade. Best meal I've had here so far. If I had more time, I would come back for dinner. Definitely will be back for my next visit to The Rock.
Quite honestly the best meal I had while I was in Saint Johns. This pork belly dish was the best bang for your buck. It was cooked with such quality. It melted in your mouth and was so tender. I could not believe how affordable this dish was.
Excellent food quality, flavor, and portion sizes! We were so impressed - everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was also excellent from Hailey! We got 2 burgers (and they accommodated my lettuce bun for no charge), the cod bites, and the UNREAL chowder!

An excellent and varied menu highlights your visit to this charming and comfortable St. Johns pub. You will remember fondly the food and the service. The rich wood interior is welcoming.
Amazing menu and lots of options to choose from, at affordable prices. The main reason to visit this restaurant is the taste of the food, the location, and the option sizes. You get what you pay for. 10/10 will visit again.
Visited twice. Once for dinner (amazing food & service), and again this week around 3pm, and again...it was such a great experience. Server was phenomenal, recommended a great pint. Stanley burger was amazing! Highly recommend!
This place came recommended by a local friend and did not disappoint! Massive portions for very reasonable prices - I got the breakfast poutine and my partner got the Tex Mex Breakfast Waffle Nachos. Both were excellent. Service was great, our waitress was new but quick. We thought about coming back a few times during our trip but there were so many places to try! Next time.
Decent pub food (ordered the pulled pork tacos) pleasant staff handled our big group and enjoyed partaking in our banter with us.
the server was super nice but we wished the fries were better fried and bigger. we loved the curry sandwich though!
