Nice little quiet place where u can sit and enjoy the light music and have a great conversation. Food is great. You should ask for the specials from the server. Service was fantastic. I would recommend the salmon and the mussels. When in St John's you can't miss the seafood.
I love the atmosphere here and we've been twice now but each time was a completely different experience. The first time we went with friends and all four of us loved every single thing we ate right from the appetizers to dessert. They serve seasoned fried wontons to start and you could probably make a meal on them alone. I had the prom which was out of this world. The service was phenomenal. Second time around was the complete opposite - the seafood pasta was extremely disappointing and came with a $31 price tag. Our waiter must have been new because the service left a very sour taste in our mouths which was quite a disappointment in comparison to the first time around.
First time we went food and service were amazing. Second time not so much, don't know whether the waiter now but he just didn't seem to know what he was doing and he was flirting with one of the other wait staff. The food was only mediocre on the second trip and certainly not worth what we paid. Haven't desired if we'll try again.
First time I've been to Get Stuffed in a very long time and I'm so glad we came. Had a great evening with my husband. Delicious food & drink. We enjoyed the Antipasto plate which was piled high with goodness. We over indulged in the Arancini, Brie Bundles, Hazelnut Chicken as a shared main and Cheese'n'doo, Hashbrown Casserole & Grilled Veg as shared sides. Everything was very good. We even have a nice container of leftovers for tomorrow. My husband says he's quite satisfied .... maybe even stuffed!:) We'll be back for sure.
Was in St Johns for a week and tried every restaurant ( Raymonds, Yellow Belly, Adelaide, Gypsy etc) and this was by far mt favorite. Everything from the complimentary chips to the mains and the deserts, fantastic! Great friendly knowledgeable staff!! Highly recommend! Happy eating!
I liked it, food was good, service was, slightly higher in price for what you get. But overall it is ok. I had the blackened salmon with the grilled vegetables and it was yummy.
I have dined at Get Stuffed several times and have always been very satisfied with my meals and the level of service. I have never taken the 'get stuffed' option that allows you to upsize your meal in size as I have always been happy with the regular portions. The menu offers a variety of great selections and of course a signature cod dish that is well spoken of in town. My favourite meal here though is dessert as a certain staff member often creates some very interesting options. One evening we were served something that can only be described as a chocolate dessert sampler that was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I wish it would become a regular item!
Got Stuffed. Excellent food! While visiting my husband and walking around downtown St. John's we almost bypassed this place but so glad we found this restaurant. My husband ordered the regular sized meatloaf (he would never have been able to eat the get stuffed size). He enjoyed it but really liked the hash brown casserole and when I tried it...I should have also ordered it. I had the seafood chowder and was really surprised that it had so much seafood. Usually restaurants have more potatoes as the filler but not Get Stuffed. Would definitely recommend it.
The app was a little sparse, but it was very nice. For the main we had one of the specials for the day . Meat and duck pot pie. It was delicious!!
Absolutely amazing! I was blown away by the service as well as the food! Beautiful relaxing atmosphere and out meals were incredible. Prices are excellent because the portions are huge! We all ordered the regular size portions and still had leftovers!!

Overall a nice experience. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. The food was also pretty good, but nothing exceptional. The salmon, however, was really good. I would certainly recommend trying this restaurant if you're downtown St. John's.
Very nice place, looks great and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you open the door. We didnt make any reservation on Vday and they were nice enough to find us a table. Our waiter/bartender Michael is the BESTEST. He is always smiling, has great people skills, is a talented bartender and fun, even on a busy night! The food was great. I had the Antipasto & the Brie Bundles. My friend had the Shrimps appetizer and the Ossoloni. Everything was great, well cooked, great presentation, generous portions. Ask him to surprise you with a drink and you won't be disappointed! He even gave us recommendations in the city! 10/10 Would go back anytime!
Service was amazing, the best we had in St. John’s! The food was delicious, everyone in our party raved about their dishes. The restaurant is so cute, like an old home with separate rooms.
Really enjoyed dinner at Get Stuffed. It’s a great restaurant. The food is delicious. We had the antipasto and chowder for appetizers and the beef phylo (special) and the hazelnut chicken for mains. Everybody said they enjoyed their food.
The atmosphere is interesting. The old building and narrow staircase contribute to the quaint feel of the place.
The staff is really great as well. They’re very friendly and professional, considerate and quick to notice when the water glasses are empty. One guy even noticed that one of the tables had uneven legs and fixed the tilt for the guests.
The one negative aspect of our visit was a waitress who served us water came to the table smelling strongly of smoke, she had probably just returned from her smoke break.
Overall I’d recommend Get Stuffed and I plan to come back.

Food was amazing and the service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend going there and trying the osobuco style veal.
Great place to try local seafood. More of a personal preference, but I found the sauces / flavours to be a bit overpowering for our dishes - which concealed the seafood taste. The restaurant is cozy inside, especially by the window. Overall a good experience.
Lighting makes it tough to read the menus, but the food is good. Plenty of menu additions, friendly staff.
Amazing creative menu, server was very well informed and helpful, and the atmosphere was a perfect balance of Christmas decoration and elegance. Will definitely be returning.
