This is purely a take out review. We were not expecting much to start with from a small pizza place on the island in the middle of nowhere but they did a decent job of it. Guy who took the order was polite and showed up exactly at the time he mentioned he would. Yes it is expensive compared to your local Domino's but that's the price you pay when you want to have pizza in isolation.
If I could give 10 stars I would! Great location, great food, and the owner Andy may be one of the nicest people I've ever met! He was very passionate about the food they offer and he treated me like I was an old friend!
The lunch slice was HUGE and delicious - no shortage of pepperoni on the pizza! I also got two homemade cookies (chocolate chip, white chocolate with macadamia nuts) which were soft and so tasty. Andy pointed out their large selection of frozen soups and other foods, and they sounded so good I had to get the tomato soup with 7 cheese tortellini.
Such a great first experience here, and I will definitely be coming back to try some of their deluxe pizzas and pastas!
Oh man, their pesto margarita pizza was so good!! We got 2 pizzas for half & half and they all turned out so good!
Good pizza in Sooke. The House Special pizza (with shrimp, black olives,…) is excellent — I highly recommend. The Hot & Spicy pizza is ok but I prefer the House Special Pizza with shrimp. Wings are ok, rather expensive and on the small size, in full honesty I have had better wings at pizza joints, but these will work ok together with beer. We also ordered the large Caesar Salad, which is good and what one would expect; portion size is good. The name says 2 for 1 but the prices are a bit contradictory, because you’re paying about $50 for two pizzas (see pic of the receipt). Anyhoo… this joint appears very popular for pizza in Sooke, it was full of pickup order customers when we went in. I would recommend them for pizza if you’re in Sooke; note it will be close to or over $100 for a two person feast.
Been getting takeout here for years. Always friendly staff and delivery drivers!! They make a point to know you and your orders. They made a mistake on my order and fixed it right away, no issues ever. I have nothing but good things to say about the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food - everything I've tried is delicious. Don't forget to try their incredible deserts. A Sooke stable.
I walked into this small pizza shop this afternoon, greeted very warmly by who I assume is the owner. I was disheveled and frustrated because I am 7.5 months pregnant and no one in the area would let me use their bathroom. The man let me use their employee bathroom despite not purchasing anything, joked with me on my way out, and when I returned with my partner to get a piece of pizza and a cookie (both of which tasted fresh and delicious), he was very friendly and asked us about ourselves. If I lived locally, I would 100% frequent this lil' pizza shop often. Kind and thoughtful service!
I've had Celiac disease for longer than I've lived in Sooke, and I have never once reacted to the gluten free pizzas from this place. They may not be a gluten free shop, but they're careful enough to have never impacted me. The pizzas are great, and the delivery is prompt and friendly. All in, a fantastic place to order from.
Just came from Ontario and bought this awesome hot sauce I love hot sauce as hot as you can get this sauce is awesome very hot and full of flavor. Andy is is a great guy with a great business I'll have to try some of his pizza before we go!
I am incredibly happy to have found my new favorite pizza place. Amazing customer service. Accomodating. Tasty gluten free crust. Highly recommend.
Mac and cheese pizza in the picture is delicious! Best pizza in sooke hands down.
