Decided to check out the steak and lobster dinner at Smilie's Village Restaurant tonight. Absolutely incredible. I have dined in many "high end' steak restaurants but I have to say that none compared to the steak that was served to me tonight. I have enjoyed their Chinese smorg on many occasions but had not tried anything else on the menu. Rest assured I will be back !!

We came here at 420 for the dinner buffet. The food was very fresh and the wonton soup was unreal. It was a little pricey but overall the service and food was good. The broccori and szechan beef was excellent and my girlfriend love the chicken balls in her mouth. The dessert wasn't very good and tasted like it was sitting in an open fridge all day. Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend but get there early
Food was awesome in every way, hot, fresh, tasty, delicious. Best salad bar, the roast beef are second to none. Love the fish tank at the main entrance, well worth the money. Service was good, always have our pop refill and dirty dishes are always taken away. The restaurant is very clean. We will be back for sure as we are new in sherwood Park
Good take out. We order take out from Smilies on the weekend. The delivery time was 30 minutes, when we open the take out, everything looks really good,it looks like it just came out of the kitchen. Highly recommand the Smilie's Special for 2, there are enough food for 3. Well worth the price. Will order again for sure.
Awesome Buffet. Have been to Smilie's a few times, over all it is always a good experience. Food is always fresh and tasty. Will definitely going back.
The lounge was a unique and entertaining dining experience. The server was very funny and efficient. The steak was amazing and remarkably priced at $11.00! A huge meal and delicious. Beer was cheap too. All in all a great night out.
Excellent over all. Went there for their buffet with the family, I do have to say that everything is really good, there are a few dishes really stands out are the chili green beans, won ton soup are probably the best ever, Pad Thai, beef rice noodle, Salt & Pepper shrimps and so on.... Are they the best food ever. Well, what is best food? But are they good food and tasty, it is an absolutely YES from me. Price wise are cheaper than other buffet place, but there quality are way better than others. Service was good, always have our water filled and the dishes always taken away by the server or bus person. Salad bar could be a meal by itself, lots to choose from. I have to say I had a really good experience with this restaurant.
They keep us coming back!. We order take out and eat in often here simply because the food is fantastic. The chicken chow mien is probably the best I have ever had. The buffet is pricy, but offers you a huge selection of food to choose from. The problem is sometimes around the lunch and supper hours they seem to let some of the items on the buffet go empty for extended periods. That is probably the only thing I would say I dislike about the place. The staff are also very friendly and attentive which is a bonus at any restaurant.
Better than other reviews say. We've been coming to Smilie's buffet or picking up their Chinese food for takeout for over 10 years. Overall, I would describe the food there as consistent- and I don't mean consistently bad. Is it ground-breakingly innovative or exceptionally tasty? No. It's just good- time after time. Not every dining experience needs to be exciting. Sometimes we just want a reliable restaurant that's reasonably clean, serving food that's not over-priced with friendly service. I'd say that Smilie's Village easily meets all of those requirements.
Smiles for Smilie's! Great food and Service!. The food and service at Smilie's Village is absolutely superb. I usually come in a few times a month, and I always leave with a smile on my face and a satisfied stomach. Every time I go, I must have at least one bowl of wonton soup because it has to be the best wonton soup I have ever had by far! They have a large variety of hot food that is also complemented by a lovely salad/dessert bar. On top of the heavenly food, the place lives up to the name "Smilie's" because I always am greeted by a smiling person as I enter the restaurant. Great food and warm friendly environment, Smilie's is a great restaurant all around.
Incredible Restaurant. The food at smilies village was delicious. there buffet was massive and on top of that they have a menu to order from too. the service was excellent and everybody there was really nice. you definitely get your moneys worth when you go there. if you've never been there before, you should give it a try soon for sure
