So we thought we had found the best northern Chinese food in Saskatoon at Taste of excellence... and we still love the food there, but a friend put us on to Summer Palace and we've had a change of heart. This is definitely like going to one of our local restaurants in Beijing. The Chinese food is excellent and I just can't get enough of it. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants real Chinese food. I can't vouch for the Western style Chinese dishes.

This place serves authentic Sichuan style Chinese food. It is considered very spicy type compared to most western type foods so beware. This is not a place where you order spring rolls and expect it to be good, as noted by a previous reviewer, if you want spring rolls go to oceana inn or the wok. The food is also quite greasy and service is subpar, like most Asian restaurants. However, the food is amazing, which is why I keep going back.
Summer Palace. Thats a fine place to eat. Friendly, not noisy,food is not greasy...........generous helpings. We will eat there again & also tell our friends
Best Szechuan Food. This is absolutely recommended. They have the best Szechuan dishes in Saskatoon. Hot and spicy, definitely. And they offer them in large quantities with reasonable prices. Also good service.
Great Authentic Food. Amazing food, friendly staff, and authentic items. Great for people looking for something different. I will definitely go again.
