After 20 odd years, its still on top.. It is beyond me how they only have a 79% review as this place is fantastic and deserves much higher. I have been coming here for almost twenty years now and I still love it. Yes, a few years ago the original owner did sell it, but the new owner is very friendly and takes a great deal of pride in his product. The new owner has also expanded the menu, which is great for anyone who likes great pizza. One commenter said the service was just " ok ", but what is it supposed to be? You place your order and they make it for you on the spot and in plain view all while being friendly. The prices are good and I have never once in hundreds of pizzas, had even just on " ok " experience, it's always been awesome. I highly recommend this place and I actually prefer baking it myself as you can cook it the way you like. Great sauce, great toppings and great crust. If you like classic, no frills pizza this place is for you. Hipsters need not even try.

Wow, this is is awesome pizza! Best I've ever had, meant to write this for some time. Stopped in last week .My uncle had brought me pizza to try. Wow I cant believe I've Never tried it before, good job yellowhead . He said sky with the wolves worked there haven't seen her since i made a high school trip out there and spent weekend with friends quite number years ago. Best weekend. Didn't see sky there reading reviews sounds like her, wanted to give my two thunbs up deservedly and say hi . So hi sky its brit, you guys make the best pizza. Saskatoons best kept take and bake pizza secret. Where do I start. I had never been t to yellow head pizza .this is definitely one of a kind. At first I didn't know what to expect.I had no idea what it was about.I walked in and saw two boys and almost turned around typical teens pizza place. Then I saw this gorgeous young lady come around the corner smiling . She had been making dough in the back.I had to stop in my tracks .she greeted me as if she knew me all my life.wow impressed right off the bat. Struck me immediately as an owner cause she knew her stuff like ive never seen and sold me on this store so quickly. She said no she not the owner. Well who ever is hope they give that girl top wages. She proceeded to tell me what they were about .they make everything right from scratch their crusts, Their pizza sauce special blend of ing.made atstore. Everything from meat to veggies chopped /sliced right there by hand,even cheese cut and grated. They have three crust options in their large size whole whole wheat, herb and parmesan, white regular.they also have Gluten free. The concept is so amazing she made me up a pizza fresh right in front of me and to watch her seemed like some lost art. Great! They have a gigantic menu to choose from but I made my own. Then I take it home and bake it how I want. They also have a frozen line which is better than any I ever had! She came over to me and one can't help be completely entranced by this girl she is so engaging she had me walking out with not one but two both thin crust an Italiano and chicken parmesan . I couldn't not pass up getting a Saskatoon berry crisp pizza too. This place has been around for twenty years and I can hardly believe this. I am a pizza connoisseur . This is THE Most delicious home made pizza I have tasted in a very long time from the EXCELLENT service that left me excited to come back to the best kept pizza secret I wish I had known about years ago. HEY yellow head pizza you get all toes and thumbs up in eveRy area. This is a spotless and clean establishment. Has more than impressive service and the food barnone . I will be back looking forward to a smile and the food .the entire experience left me feeling happy and smiling.
