So delicious!. The food is so great there..
But man, you don't get very much for what you pay for.
A true Baba would overload your plate twice.
But wow... Probably the best perogies I've ever eaten.
Great To Cook Yourself. Today I had lunch there and was very disappointed. My borscht was delicious. But the perogies and cabbage rolls were a disappointment. The perogies tasted so doughy and over cooker. The cabbage roll didn't have any sort of sauce, which I would have expected, and was just filled with flavorless white rice. When you order off the menu it doesn't specify which kind of perogy or cabbage roll they are serving, but I guess I figured at $1.35 a pop I was getting one with some meat in it.
On a more positive note, I love buying bags of perogies/cabbage rolls and making them myself at home. Never a disappointment. And as previously stated, the borscht is fantastic.
Go for their Super Combo, comes with 5 perogies, 2 cabbage rolls, and a smokie. Say yes to sour cream and bacon bits! Yum! Otherwise, they don't serve much of anything else.
This place is the real deal. Always impressed with this place. The quality of food is excellent. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Food is a little more then a happy meal..but its WORTH IT!!!
Had them cater an event 2 years ago for 200 people. Food was outstanding! Everyone raved about it.
We frequent the place often and will use their catering service again in the future!
Perogies!!!!!. I love perogies, these one are the best. I could eat here almost everyday. When you walk in the it smells so good. Great place to stop for lunch. The Super Combo is a huge meal, I'm always full. You've gotta get the mushroom dill sauce.
Fantastic Food!!. I love Baba's Food. Their perogies are even better than the ones I make at home. I usually eat a meal and then take frozen perogies and mushroon dill sauce to make at home. I am always impressed at what a great value this is for the price.
I love this place!. My family frequents Baba's and we really love it. Their perogies are the best that I have ever had and I always get the mushroom-dill sauce. I usually get the Super Combo with perogies, cabbage rolls and a sausage. My husband always gets the Tex Mex which is perogies with chili and cheese on top. We think that it is a great value for our money because we always leave really full. I would definitely recommend trying it.
Not bad. I went here once, it wasnt to bad if your in the mood for ukrainian type food. They have like perogies (obviously haha) farmer sausge, cabagge rolls etc.... price was a little expensive for what you get.
