Was my first time in and wow, I was amazed. We had the crispy chicken skins, fish tacos and shrimp tacos and also the churros for desert. The food was fantastic and definitely worth every penny. We loved the extensive and unique drink menu. Our server was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere will keep me coming back.

Was there for the second time, this time with my ladies. We tried and shared almost all tacos and some of starters. We agreed that everything we tried is so delicious! The only comment we have that the size of pork belly is a bit too small, although it tastes really good! Our server Matthew is very friendly and he even apologized for the foods that came a bit longer as that was their first weekend open and it was very busy. Love the interior and the open concept of the kitchen as well as big window that views corner of the street. The drinks are excellent too! Something people in Saskatoon worth to try!
Great visit! Had the chance to come here for dinner recently and it was fantastic. I opted for the chips & salsa trio to start and the chorizo and octopus as well as a couple of the cocktails like the Betty White and El Diablo and I must say it’s one of the good ones! All of which tasted delicious! Will definitely be back here!
I had a great dining experience here this evening. I kicked things off with the chips and salsa. The spicy peanut salsa was something I have never seen before and it was great. I then grabbed 2 rogue tacos which was a the pork belly right now. I also had the pork tacos which were great too. I wish I had saved some room as I would have liked to have tried the churro.
Keep in mind they do last call around 915-930 so don't try and squeeze in too late before close.
Would definitely recommend this place and am likely to be back.
Guac and chips were great, just needed slightly more salt. Chupacabra was smoky and sweet with a bit of spice. Special tacos were crispy chicken - lightly breaded and fried, delicious! Friendly servers, would definitely go back
Limited menu, but very tasty food. Cocktails are delicious and the service was fantastic. We ate the chicken and the fish tacos, the street corn appetizer and the tortilla starter.. all delicious
I love their date night deal! Tacos are okay; it's their dessert you would want to die for! So sad you can‘t order Churros to go.
Really great Latin/Mexican restaurant! Very friendly service, good cocktails, good Latin/south American wine selection and a decent selection of bottled beers. Food was very good, we did get the "tomahawk steak" platter and found it to be plenty of food, it doesn't serve well as a taco meal. It was more of a plated meal to share. Was very impressed with this restaurant
Awesome food, friendly staff, a beautiful interior, Picaro is a welcome addition to Saskatoons dining scene.
Picaro has a really nice variety of fun tasty Latin dishes. You can tell great care has been put into all the little things, and everything is made from scratch. The tortillas for the tacos were the perfect texture, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The shishito peppers were a really tasty starter. Don't leave without trying dessert too, churros are the bomb and the chocolate tacos are just plain fun!
Go there, eat everything, have a drink and enjoy one of Saskatoons very best restaurants!
Super impressed! The service was excellent. Make sure you get the Chicken Skins as a starter, it's my new guilty pleasure. Two people at our table got the burger and said it was unreal. I had the rice & beans which was satisfying (I loved the kale salad) but the actual rice and beans lacked spice/flavour. We tried the Choco Tacos and the churros. You better try those churros because you will not regret it. They're delivered to your table hot, fresh, and with a perfect caramel dipping sauce. I already want more and we just got home. Would definitely recommend this place.
