Wow top quality food!! So happy with this place I can’t believe this hidden gem has been open for 8 years and I have only just discovered it. Incredible flavors and wonderful presentation. Thank you!!
Glad to have finally made it here. Firstly, the restaurant is very clean and the decor is simple, but nice. I had the Dolsot bibimbop. The dish was very hot (temperature-wise), but quite tasty, particularly the sauce that went with it. Many of our companions found the dishes too spicy, my partner and I did not, but if you are spice-sensitive this might not be the spot for you.
The food was great the first time I went to Seoul. I had the Jeyuk bokkeum (stir fried pork). It tasted great. Full flavour. A little too spicy for my liking but not a big deal. Huge plate filled with meat and a small serving of rice. I'm not a huge fan of the side dishes but each to their own.
I went there tonight, looking forward to trying their dolsot bibimbap dish, but I was quite disappointed. The purpose of the rice being in the stone bowl is to form a crispy layer of rice on the bottom. That was the only reason I ordered the dish. When I got my food, the stone bowl wasn't that hot (neither was the food) and the dish never formed the crispy bottom. Kinda defeats the purpose of the bowl. The bibimbap was pretty bland so I took some of the sauce from the boneless wings and added it to my rice (which improved the dish).
The boneless wings were really good though.
I would probably try Seoul again but I wouldn't recommend bibimbap. For the price you pay, you get nice large servings of food.
This is a real deal Korean restaurant run by Koreans making authentic Korean dishes & great kimichi. They should also start selling their kimchi separate from meals. 😀
We were planning on going to another restaurant down the block but they were full so we came here and we're pleasantly surprised! Everything was so flavorful and balanced. The waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu and what we can expect with the different dishes. We had our toddler with us and he enjoyed every bite. Great atmosphere to top it off. Great experience and will be back again!
Great place for Korean food! Yes it is a little expensive, but food is great so that is okay. Besides, this place is one of very few Korean restaurants in Saskatoon. The place is very clean as well. Try here if you love Korean food.
This is pricey so I suggest taking a friend because then you can sample lots and the big portions will be good for sharing. Service is outstanding. Really recommend the BBQ. Jeon was well done and not rubbery as is so often the case.
If you like spicy and saucy you will like Seoul. The kimchi is flavourful and not over spicy. The kimchi pancake is great especially with all the sides you get. If you want a safe simple dish the bibimbap is what you should order. The pork backbone stew was great and fun to eat. All the dishes were large and filling so the price seemed appropriate
I have been to this restaurant 5 -6 times.
Every time i get good service and consistently good food.
I hope they increase the number of options they have on their menu.
I have stayed in Korea for 3 years and i can say with confidence that their food is very similar to what you get in Korea.
I have tried their bibimpap, samgyopsal, dak kalbi, kimchi soup.
It is all good. I wish they serve their fried pork chops..... its my favorite.
I always recommend this place to my friends and i will their again in the near future.

Went here with my mom and grandpa the evening before Mother's Day, because there wasn't any room left in the odd couple. We were surprised by the promptness of the service and enjoyed our food. The japchae was nice, and I liked the kimchi pancake. Hot stone bowl Bibimbap was pretty good as well, and the spicy tofu stew was alright. I liked the concept of having iPad menus and the idea of being able to have your meat cook right in front of you! However we didn't get meat, so next time I go I would definitely get some meat. Wish there were more options on the menu personally! Seemed quite limited for an Asian restaurant. Overall, pretty enjoyable experience although nothing extraordinary.
Their menu is so fun, and I love that it’s digital (on individual IPads) and provides photos of each dish. Service is great. Water is filled frequently. During our most recent visit I had a spicy seafood soup, and we shared the green onion and seafood pancake. All of it was AMAZE.
Great amount of food, exquisite flavor and appropriate atmosphere. We had the Kampong( spicy seafood noodles), Kanpoongi ( spicy deep fried chicken) and Jeyuk Bokkeum (spicy stir fried pork).
Seoul Restaurant is unmatched in the quality of service and authenticity of the finest Korean cuisine. If you want to experience the best of what Saskatoon has to offer, definitely check out this little gem. I always come back 120% satisfied!
Great restaurant with a big selection of Korean foods. The bibimbap was a generous portion, with fresh and well seasoned ingredients. The kanpoonggi fried chicken bites were also delicious and fresh. The staff are very good about maintaining hygiene in the restaurant. I hope to try more of their foods and even their BBQ in the future!

Wonderful foods, not very good service. My friends and I came at black Friday spent around 30 mins waiting for them cleaning the table. In fact that table empty even before we came in. Then wait for ordering, wait for cold water balabala. Seems always waiting. However, the food is great enough to erase the mood. Maybe they should hire more staff in holiday.
The service could always have some improvement, especially in quieter hours. The food is decent tho!
Probably one of the best Korean restaurant in the city. Location is great too.
Really solid food for a decent price. My favourite dishes here would have to be the bulgogi or the seafood stew. Service is relatively quick, and one of the only places I know of off the top of my head that offers korean bbq.
