Review Fuddruckers - Saskatoon

Mike Bown
Awesome family friendly place. Everything seems to be fresh and you have flexibility to add what you want to the burger. Would describe as hybrid fast food/family restaurant where you order first and then sit at your table. They buzz you for pickup of burger and milkshakes are delivered. Combo price generally falls between $15-$20.

A classic case of getting what one pays for: the food is always delicious. Every time I have attended, the whole dining area is jam-packed. I enjoy the dress-your-own burger set up, providing the finest degree of customizability. Their milkshakes are simply irresistible, not only filling the glass, but a little bit extra comes in a metal cup!

Ordered to go the bacon and cheese burger as well as the bison burger with a side or fries and gravy. Burgers were on the larger side and tasted great. I would recommend eating in, as there was quite a bit of packaging with a take out order. The fries were nice and crisp. However they forgot my gravy.

Easily the best place I visited for food while in Saskatoon! The burgers are consistently good quality. Although the meat isn't incredibly seasoned, it's a patty that can be topped to anyone's tastes. With a wide variety of toppings, both grilled (bacon, onion rings, etc.) and a self-service bar for lettuce, onions, tomato, etc. I doubt anyone could come here and not find something to eat. The atmosphere is incredible, relaxed and calm, with an air of the good old days of food service. The bakery is easily one of the best places to pick up pies in Saskatoon, to the point where I think I was buying a pie a week. That can't be good for my figure... And the pricing is spectacularly cheap. For less than a 20 dollar bill, you can get a significant, filling meal and a bottomless drink/a beer.

Played mini golf and ate in the diner the other day. My wife and I both had the grilled chicken burgers and shakes. It was a struggle to finish them because the portions were so big and very tasty, in fact it might have been one of the best grilled chicken burgers we've ever had. It's always very busy, but that speaks to how good it is. I'd definitely eat here again.

Love this place! Haven't been in a long while. Just as awesome as I remember. Had the gluten free bun with my burger and it was great! The pump jalapeño cheese y'all, come on🤤. If you have never been, you gotta! Can't wait for my next visit. Delicious, organized, clean, and fun. Great place 👌 👍

Absolutely amazing! One of the best burgers I have ever eaten! I go whenever I could.

I am celiac (Gluten allergy), the Burgers I have had here don't compare quality wise or cost wise to any other burger that I have had. You don't wait forever but they don't treat the food like a McD assembly line. Would recommend if you are passing by. Unfortunately there are only like 3 in Canada.

Fuddruckers is an American fast casual, franchised restaurant chain that specializes in hamburgers. There are so many franchised restaurants in Canada. The one we’ve been is located on 8th Street East Saskatoon. It was my first time having food at this place. We arrived the restaurant around 8 pm. Even though it had already passed dinner time, there are still lots of customers having food at the restaurant.

Environment: Fuddruckers is a large size restaurant. Lots of tables inside the restaurants, which is a good place to hold a party. People can order their food first at the front of the restaurant. Then, they can find the seat inside. There are many seats and tables there, so people don’t need to worry about to find a place to sit.

Service: The restaurant has only a few servers around customers. They don’t serve drinks and food. They are doing the cleaning after people eat. They cleaned the table very fast. The people who worked at the front were nice and friendly. If you have any misunderstanding of the menu, they will explain to you.

Food/Price: We ordered four different sizes of burger meat patties with different sides. Three of us ordered pop drinks and my boyfriend had a milkshake. This place is a very interesting. You will get your drinks and food by yourself. So, after we ordered the food, the people who took the order, gave us an electronic number. Once our food (Burger Meat Patties) ready, the number will turn on to remind us. After 10 ~ 15 mins waiting, our food was finally ready. We picked up our burgers first and then went to the topping section to get toppings. We could pick anything we want. The Burger meat patties were fresh and well cooked, but they were less flavors. After we added toppings, they were tasted decent. The prices of the food were a little bit expensive. In summary, It was a unique experience for me.

Great family dining experience. I always get the taco salad and a chocolate milkshake. Their pies are great too. It's a long standing Saskatoon establishment and so happy they are still thriving!

The food here really hits the spot. It's nothing extraordinary, but you know going in that you're not getting a gourmet meal. Burgers are awesome. Last time I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was pretty good (think I'll stick to the burgers though from now on). Good fries, tasty & fresh baked goods, and root beer floats made with Dad's root beer (!!). The cheese sauce though is the real winner for me here! It gets really busy here on weekends, I usually try to go between 4-5pm on a weekday to beat the supper rush and the huge line.

Been coming here since I was very young. The food isn't amazing but it's still tasty with a fun atmosphere and a good selection of food. The have a separate dessert counter and toppings bar where you can load your basket with toppings. Don't be surprised if there's a line out the door. It's definitely a local favourite! Their pies and milkshakes are delicious.

Haven't been here since they first opened. Three of us came for lunch. Arrived just after 1. It was busy.. contemplated leaving as we didn't think there was a table. I had 1/3 mushroom Swiss, fries with a side of grave. Kid had poutine. Spouse had buffalo chicken burger with fries.
Kid enjoyed the poutine. Appeared to have good cheese/gravy ratio.
My burger had tons of caramelized onions and mushrooms (came on the side). I was impressed. I didn't get any fixings except jalapeño and plain cheese sauce, for the fries too. Yum. Though next time would opt for 1/4 pound burger.
Spouse said chicken burger said it was ok. But was breaded therefore got soggy from the buffalo sauce. The chicken was quite small and bun too large. Said all you could really taste was sauce and bun.
Next visit I think I'd wait until after the rush though.

I've been coming here since I was little and the food has never changed! The burgers and fries are always made fresh right when you order them, and their milkshakes and cinnamon buns can't be beat. My dad loves getting the 1 pound burger when he is really hungry- it's massive! They have so many toppings and sauces to choose from as well. Will continue coming back!
Carly
This place has the best gluten free hamburgers! The gluten free bun is soft and light, unlike lots of others I've tried. The best part about the restaurant is the toppings bar. So much fun and interactive. Love eating here!
Jake Ventura
Best Burgers in Saskatoon. Love this place so much. Great place to visit with friends or family! I really love their milkshakes too! Fresh Buns = Fresh Burgers.

I spent years unable to eat burgers in restaurants (long story short they would gross me out!) but Fudds helped me overcome that in no time! One of my favourite places, for sure! I've had burger, chicken burger, chili and Caesar salad here and I was never unhappy with what I ordered. I miss the potato wedges though, they were so delicious. I could eat here every week!
Brooke
Fudds is a good place to get a nice, big burger without breaking the bank. It was so huge I could barely finish it! All the staff were really nice and happy. Fuddruckers is excellent at making a traditional, no fuss burger. The restaurant is also an experience to eat in!

My favorite place for burgers! Great price and friendly people. I go hear at least once every week. If you are in Saskatoon, try this place. You won't regret!
Ashley Lafontaine
Fuddruckers is awesome for a quick and fairly priced burger! They are sure to pleased almost anyone in any of their sizes. The fries are great there and the burgers are good. My boyfriend and I have tried them all between the two of us over our few trips there. I love how you're able to load your burger up with your choice of toppings and the cheese sauce is also a favourite of mine! I personally like the works burger and my boyfriend is a fan of the avocado crunch. Great place and the service is always friendly and food is ready quite quickly!
MKAngel
They make good burgers, and the milkshakes are really good as well. This won't ever be my go to restaurant, but I enjoy taking my 5 year old niece here as she like to pick the toppings on her food. She also happens to enjoy the food and for that picky eater it was fantastic. Plus cheese sauce...really...cheese sauce.I've enjoyed the wonderful burgers, fries, and milkshakes and from the rate my niece ate her cookie it was good too.

We had our son's 3rd birthday party at Fudd's/ Ruckers this past weekend and the experience was downright horrible.
Jill, our "party host" is absolutely not someone who should ever work with children. She had a terrible attitude from the second we walked in, until we were rushed out the door.
She was angry when we got there, because there was no confirmation on how many adults would be attending, because the person I booked the party with wrote down my phone number wrong. I was told that I gave the wrong phone number... Considering that this has been my phone number for 12 years, not fricken likely! (Not that it mattered, as there were empty tables all around us)
Fast forward, the children literally had their food in front of them for less than 10 minutes when Jill started rushing us, and putting presents on front of my son without permission. I don't even want to know how much money I ended up paying for food that no one got the chance to eat.
Once cake was forced upon us, we were told that we had 15 minutes to be at Ruckers, it was made very well known that Jill was off work at 6, and the party was to be over by then. I honestly have to wonder if these girls get a bonus or commission or some sort off of hosting these parties, as I can't see someone being so awful with children and people in general ever even wanting to deal with the general public. This is not just my opinion--- all of the parents commented to me on how rude she was to everyone.
All in all, I would not recommend this service to anyone. The party host feature is supposed to make the party easier on the parents, not cause even more stress and rush small children just to get it all over with. I feel like I paid $150 to get bullied by a 16 year old kid.
Reviewing Fuddruckers in Saskatoon is like reviewing a legend. It is one of the few restaurants in town that has been here as long as I have and it hasn’t really changed. Actually Jordon says that it is basically unchanged since he moved here in 1984. They have always made a good burger and have stuck to that recipe. There isn’t anything wrong with that and over time Fuddruckers has become Saskatoon’s equivelant to comfort food, a place where you know what you are going to get and they do a good job of delivering it.

The first stop when I arrive in Saskatoon is Fuddruckers famous burgers. I love my Fuddruckers burgers, last one in Canada. I got fresh at Fuddruckerss, it's all about the bun.
Jessica DeWitt
This is second time we have visited Fuddruckers, which to locals seems to be a revered institution. I do think it's fun, burgers are good, and there is a special novelty to unlimited cheese sauce. So, yeah, worth the occasional visit and shame that results after consuming cheese sauce.
Clarke Liu
The only attractive thing for this restaurant was the large portion. The size of the patty did not matter since any oversized food was the same. The burger was absolutely over cooked, which means it was hard and dry. The taste of the burger was worse than any burger from any fast food franchise. Well, I have to admit the veggie bar was good to balance the nutrition.

The best place in the city for burgers. It never takes too long either! My granddaughter likes the milkshakes (and I confess I do too. Yummy!)
Costa2much
Not impressed. Unprofessional establishment run by kids

Fantastic Service! GREAT for birthday parties!!!. I have to say that when I arrived to ask for a table for 12 for an 8 year old's birthday I was skeptical. I had been told a few weeks before that I just needed to show up and they would find us something. They seated us within minutes and I just had to stand at the front to take the guests' orders and show them the way to the table.

They took the birthday cake, and it didn't matter what I asked for, they hustled and got it for us quickly and with a smile. I wanted for nothing and they helped me make this potential for chaos, an absolute pleasure! The kids loved the food and despite only grabbing bites of my son's food, all seemed good. I did not have time to eat really but everything looked fresh and tasty as usual.

There is ONE thing I dislike here that we ordered... the milkshakes are FAAAR too sweet. I am not sure if this is just a preference thing but when an 8 year old says that he can't drink his blueberry milkshake because it is too sweet, you have to wonder... I tried it and it tasted like there was about 3 tablespoons of sugar added to it... I am sure there wasn't but it was not something he will order again.

Thank you again to the staff at Fuddrucker's ... they made everything go smoothly and stress free and I made sure every parent knew that when picking up their kids!

Great. Always a great place to eat
Zeljimir Troumbakievic
Definitely not again. The food quality is worse than the $17 that I paid for a burger, fries and a pop. In any restaurant dt you eat better food with less money.
Devon
Great food my second favourite burger. Always my favorite burger but please for the love of god renovate this place it needs a complete renovation very bad. its not 1991 but the tables and floor and restaurant sure are...

1/2 Pound Hot Rocks. Tasty meat on an amazing fresh bun, with spicy BBQ sauce and cheddar.
Debbie Klepachek-Klimosko
Saskatoon, you are so lucky to have the only Fuddruckers location in Canada. My must stop visit when I am in from Edmonton. I love this place. Almost a reason to move to Saskatoon. Almost .

A hit every time for a family meal! Milkshakes, burgers, condiments galore and end it all with a yummy bakery item. Great cookies!! Give the one pound burger a try!!
Zeratul
Weird.. Always thought this was one of the weirdest places to eat. I don't really get the 2 area setup, one for baking and milkshakes and then the other counter is where you place your order and where they make the burgers and fries.

Like it overall, good burgers, good milkshakes, happy people. Will return.
Jessica Redekop
Overrated. Husband loves this place for the 1lb burgers, but I think it's overrated. Dry, bland burger patties. Great restaurant concept, though. Don't come at 6 unless you're prepared to line up all the way out the door.
CASmutt
Always a great burger, wonderful milk shakes too!
John
Foods ok, a little expensive for what it is. The decor and games are good.
Level.up
Unimpressed. Was there the other night (Nov 28) and service was subpar to say the least. waiting on a milkshake and the person who was in the baked goods section was talking with her friends (Tons of milkshakes this night big group of people were in all ordering milkshakes) and manager was not in the vicinity. staff seemed like they couldnt handle it...not impressed!

I am super not happy with how this place is managed..Not to mention their dry buns eeeewww!

Fuddruckers really is one of the best burger places out there. The quality of the beef is top notch and I can't imagine it being any better. It blows MacD's, Burger King, Wendy's and the like out of the water. The buns are fresh and toasted. They even use larger buns for larger burgers. The toppings are always fresh and I love the warm jalepeno cheese sauce. I can't praise Fudd's enough but I can say Fatburger is equal, which is also extremely high quality. I would also say both of these places are a whole notch higher than Five Guys, which is no slouch. Finally, Fudd's is significantly cheaper than Five Guys or Fatburger.

This is a great place for good burger. Fist to have a ood selection from sizes of burgers to the style. You can either get a plain burger or a special recipe to chicken and buffalo. Ans from there you can put whatever topping on you want from the topping bar. And the toppings go anywhere from you basic letus to salsa and jalapeños cheese sauce.

Now about the quality I just order tje plane 1/2 lbs burger the meet was nice tender and juicy and well cooked, however it could of used a little bit more seasoning while being cooked just a little bit of seasoning salt could of gone a long way. Now the buns are fabulous feshly baked everyday in their bakery amd the buns are never to small for the burger. If anything you may get to much bun all because they bake the buns to tje size of the burger. Over all the food it really good and you cant go wrong coming here to eat.
Mr-E Diner
Great grilled chicken burgers and sweet potato fries. Cheese sauces are a good addition too

Not as good as I remember. We went at 8pm on a Friday night-busy, but not packed. Very noisy. I wish that when they called out your name when your order is up that it was clearer, louder or they flashed it on a screen. Really tough to hear. The bison burger was" fine" but nothing special and the bun was cold. Toppings were ok, but I was disappointed with the onion rings that were lukewarm and I maybe had 8 on my plate. My friend has sweet potato fries, and the order was not very large either. The whole place could use a thorough cleaning. Walls, furniture, every square inch. I found it quite dirty. I was disappointed. I remember this place being better.

Wow fuddruckers is just too good! I go for the great veggie burgers and awesome cookies! The manager was helpful in providing me ingredient info for my allergy even when it in the middle of the rush. They had just switched to new fries and didn't have ingredient info on that yet so that was a bummer but oh well, hopefully they'll have all their info up to date before my next visit. it's a great place and I'll always be coming back!

Not the same since owner died. Ever since the owners daughter has taken over things have gotten worse. Peter Golf is rolling in his grave.

Had an excellent time!. We had an excellent time tonight out on the patio at Fuddruckers!

I have always wanted to try the massive 1 lb bison burger, and tonight I finally did. It was delicious! The largest burger I've ever had by far, but I managed to eat the whole thing. :) They even had a fresh bun large enough to fit the huge bison burger patty. I was very impressed.

We've been to Fuddruckers before and always enjoy ourselves. The food is always good, and the staff are very dedicated to making sure we have a good time.

Life long love. A Saskatoon staple, this place never disappoints. I've been eating there my entire life (29 years) and an always happy. You can rely on that kind of consistency.

#1 Fav!. First off, I have to say that the Fuddruckers burger is THE quintessential burger of all time. It is the burger that is rated #10 in our books and then everything else gets graded by the Fuddruckers burger. There hasn't been any that have come close,...maybe a 7 or 8. Sadly,....oh so sadly,...there USED to be two locations in Edmonton. Maybe this city wasn't ready for oh so great of a burger or maybe their palates were more attuned to McDonald's, but whatever the case we sure miss that place. And it wasn't just the burgers,...it's just a great restaurant, with their fresh baking, milkshakes, etc. We haven't been to the Saskatoon location but know people who make a special trip up there to go to Fuddruckers. When we were in California it was the first place we hit when we got off the plane,....and my husbands first 1 lb burger (don't judge,lol.....he loved it.) We sure miss this place and look forward to going there again sometime in the near future I hope.

? Gluten free buns. The Fuddruckers website in the ID says they serve a great gluten free bun, does anyone know if they have them here in Saskatoon?
Sir Reviewsalot
Am Im neutral. I have always felt conflicted when going to Fudd's. One part of me likes the concept and the food is ok. But the other part finds it to be kind of a zoo.

It rates a marginal plus

I had given up on Fudds with the dry buns and tasteless meat but I ordered the Hawaiin Salad and was very impressed. A great mixture of chicken, mandarin oranges, pineapple, coconut, cheese and cucumber in a taco bowl. The dressing was a nice poppy seed and everything was tasty. It would be great to have fresh mandarin and pineapple, not canned, but I get why they probably can't do that. Next time I will order it without the taco bowl as it was very greasy and I didn't bother with it.

Normally i love this place. But i miss fudd spuds, the fries now are lame in comparison, and the guy on till messed up my order, i got a #1 combo and asked for regul;ar onion rings as well, he rang it in as extra fries and they didnt even give me those, i spoke to i believe the manager and he tried to say i just had the combo, when i asked him how the hell i had just the combo, when mine was $2 more then my girlfriends, and hers was more then just the basic combo because hse got cheese on the burger, he said theyd get some rings down and call me back up, so we ate, the food was good, but 15 minutes passed and still no onion rings, so i went back up to ask and he was surprised i hadent gotten them, eventually he ran them over, and the rings were ok, but i dont think cooked long enough, when i bit into the majority of them, they dripped liquid out, from the not even half cooked onions.
but i wont let one bad experience sour me too much, normally the food is awesome, and the self serve fixings is awesome

A group of 9 of us went and not one person had anything positive to say.

Most of us had the 1/2LB Burger and no matter what we threw at it, we couldn't produce anything good. BLAND is the most commonly used term in other reviews and this burger is B-L-A-N-D!

The poutine was small and over-priced. The shakes were okay, but not great.

Not wasting more time on this review as there's no point, simply...DON'T GO!
Stoonfood
Fries are terrible now. Burgers are dry and bland. This is not the Fudds of a couple of years ago...
Constantcraving
Love the burgers and all the toppings. Better than jerry's. Don't like the buns and small portions of fries though.

I had dinner here on Feb 12, 2013 with my family. I had the bison burger. I loved it. My family loved their food as well. My kids ate for free which was awesome. I will definitely come back.
Chris Voth
Great value. Good food. Quick service. Good portion sizes.

Step into my amazing time machine. This place literally has not changed at all since it opened in about 1985. It still looks the same, smells the same, and is pumping out almost exactly the same industrial hamburger that it did in the 80s. They still have the 80s newspaper clippings in the front foyer. They still have the vats of liquid cheese. They have slightly updated the menu with bison burgers, a salad or two, sandwiches, etc, but really we're putting makeup on a pig here. It does what it does reasonably well, and is a complete zoo at all hours of the day. It is the natural habitat of the common WASP, and they can be frequently seen feeding their young and themselves on memories of 1955. It is a cornucopia of conformity.

This is typical of a successful mass-volume restaurant in Saskatoon - burgers, fries, and sweets. Large, loud seating area. It's what Jerry's wishes it was, which is unspeakably sad. Why did I let myself get dragged here? It brought uninteresting memories of my youth spiraling back, because it was the exact same food and the exact same chemically full feeling 28 years later. I also got that weird chemical beef smell on my hands and it would not wash off for hours. What do burger joints use that leaves that kind of persistent odor? Ugh. I'm ashamed that I went there. At any rate, expect absolutely no surprises.

50-50. Kind of a topsy turvy place. My kids love it here and have nothing to complain about. For me and my husband it can be difficult because the portions are so small and the staff are kind of rude at times. Also the food can be low quality at times, like my burger bun fell apart when i took my first bite and I had to pretty much eat it by picking it apart and it tasted plain but other times its delicious and i cant wait to go back.... Never really know what you're gonna get here lol!!!!!

Dry and Bland. We went on a Friday night so we expected the food to be good. The buns for our burgers were so dry that they crumbled and fell apart before we could finish. The burgers were so bland, dry and overcooked! No wonder they have all those condiments, they need them to bring some taste to the meal. We missed the tasty fries of the past as the new ones were just same old same old and the onion rings had no seasonings what so ever.
I don't remember it being this way so I wonder if something had changed and not for the better! IF I ever go back, I will be trying something else for sure because these burgers were a huge disappointment. This is not the place it once was. How sad!
Jim Connelly
Fuddruckers is a decent enough place to take the kids for a cheap meal, it's fun and has a large toppings bar for your burger. Unfortunately, they served me the worst cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. It was dry, overcooked, and tasted "grainy". The fries were pretty good though.
Shelley Stahl Heuchert
Something for everyone on the menu. Casual laid back - and the best place to bring kids!!

Family Experiences. We really enjoy fudds. Can't go all the time as the prices aren't the best but then it is really good food quality, so what can you expect.

My husband and I always share a taco salad (sooo good) and we always get a kids meal for our little guy.

Bottomless refills, fresh food, good quality, desert for your kid.

One salad is $10.00 to give you an example of a price... it's a good place to go however for a nice outing.

I don't find the cutlery always clean and I don't think it's a good idea that people can just go reach in and grab there own cutlery. Not everyone washes their hands....

Bathrooms are clean. Customer service is excellent
SaskDiner
Eat like a King. Once you get the Veggie Burger and top it with all the free toppings at the topping bar you'll forget it's not meat. Order it with the next size up of bun so you can really load up on the toppings. Skip the fries and make yourself a side salad out of the shredded lettuce and tomato/onion/cilantro mixture. That way you eat like a King for the price of a Peasant ;)
Mouse Hates Peeks
Where's my fries?? Like hello! Small portion! Steak sandwich is ok! Burgers? The bun is like air! Bite into it it dissolves? Mushrooms love em! Cheese sauce love it! Bottomless cup! Great for the kids but be prepared to order extras

I used to love Fuddruckers growing up, but after visiting recently a lot has changed. What used to be juicy cooked to order burgers are now incredibly dry and bland, and what used to be delicious yeast buns have web replaced with dry buns that taste like they could have been in a fridge for weeks. The fries, which used to be wedges covered with seasoning salt are now McCain fries that you could find at the superstore down the road. After having a burger at the Rook and Raven I have to say they have Fuddruckers beat for a burger.
Judge Lashawndra
Fudd fries!!. As of October 5th (my most recent meal at Fudd's) the French fries were delicious! Crispy, soft inside, salted just right-- great! A huge improvement since last time. Ay-yo!

Great for young families. Fuddruckers is often our choice for an easy friday evening burger - it's noisy enough and one of the few places you can bring young children without getting stink-eyes from other diners. We often meet friends for supper at Fudds and bring our families.
We always enjoy our burgers - my husband gets the bison burger, and I get the veggie burger on whole wheat. I'd have to say it's one of the more tasty veggie burgers available in Saskatoon, and the buns are always soft and fresh. We get the chicken fingers kids meal for our child, and he enjoys them.
The condiment and topping station is usually full of fresh toppings, though recently I've noticed it could use more tending to - the ketchup running dry, no tomatoes, etc....
I'd recommend skipping the "specialty" toppings on the menu (sauteed mushrooms, special cheese, etc), and just opting for the toppings bar - from my experience and that of my friends that's the best way to go.
The bottomless soft drinks are nice.
We have stopped ordering the fries since they changed them - the new ones are no good. The old Fudd fries were awesome! (Bring them back!?) We sometimes order onion rings instead. Honestly you're full enough after a burger, you don't really need a side.
Desserts are tasty - they have baked goods, pies, and ice cream desserts. I never have room, but sometimes take home a slice of banana or coconut cream pie. Our child likes the cookies.
Expect a wait during peak times - it's kind of a pain in the butt that they won't let one member of the party go and secure a table while the other stands in line, instead only letting us seat ourselves after we have all placed our order. Letting one party grab a table would help a lot when the lineup is long and you have a small child with you.

Good place to hangout. I am basically from india, so i liked the crowd and noise, which always exists in Fuddruckers. Talking about the quality of food, it is good and not really great. Reasonable pricing. Best for hangouts with friends.

Mediocrity at its finest. I've been here twice now and I really wanted to like it, but I can't. I had the Bison burger 2 months ago and had the "original" last night, neither of which was good by any stretch. During my recent visit last night, I brought my girlfriend who had a chicken burger as well that she wasn't impressed with. Her chicken burger came preloaded with some goopy onion/cheese mess that actually took away more from the burger than it added.

The burgers were all bland and the bread, despite being fresh, was incredibly dry and tasteless. I would definitely compliment the condiment section, it's just a shame it doesn't have real beef to go along with it.

I don't understand the universal love for this place on UrbanSpoon, in no universe would this be good food.

The minigolf nearby was pretty fun but I won't be eating here again, especially not for the price. It doesn't come close to Five Guys in terms of taste.
Dustin Walker
Great burgers, casual eatery. After eating Fuddrucker's I find it difficult to go back to eating burgers elsewhere. I think the bison burger is a little dry, I recommend sticking with the beef burger. Also it's definitely worth paying another $2.50 for the sweet potato fries, they come with a great sauce and are just way better than the regular fries which I'm not a fan of.
GluttonBros.
Fun place to eat. The beef and bison burgers are all freshly made in-house. The format is unique in that after placing your order you can freely sit around at a table until your name is called on the speaker at which point you pick up your plain ungarnished burger. Garnish and condiments are available buffet style (except of course bacon + cheese) so you can decorate your burger to your whim. The environment at this Fuddruckers is typical family-fun oriented and is definitely a lively eatery. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. While the chicken patty was good I wasn't blown away by it because it wasn't even as crispy as the burgers found at KFC. I was also disappointed by the quality of the bun since it was verging on dry. Given the price however it was a good value. That being said I will likely be returning the next time I am in Saskatoon to try the bison burger and the items at the dessert counter!

Always consistant. Went back again had a great meal.
Remember folks, you get what you pay for.

Blah.. My burger was dried out, and tasted old and flavourless. The onion rings were ice cold and not seasoned at all. My partners chicken burger was of poor quality meat and was severely overcooked. Never will return.
Eric
Fries?!. Best burgers in the toon but the fry change sucks.
J
No thanks. So dirty and old looking. Used to be great but the burgers are so dried out!

Good when you want a burger. I like coming here when I want a burger but don't want to cook it myself. I usually get the bison burger which I find is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I love that I can add my own toppings to my burger. The fries I can take or leave. I never had their homemade ones, but if they did swap out homemade fries for frozen I will agree with other reviews that is a move in the wrong direction. There is always lots of seating, and actually I never find it too loud in there.

Just a great place to go for lunch if you want to sit down and visit for a it. I also like that they are open fairly late as well.

Always busy, but worth it!. This place is always busy but it really speaks for their food. The buffalo chicken sandwich is awesome! Also their taco salad... Not the best ambience because of the people, but the food is well priced and worthwhile!

Got rid of homemade fries. For the last 6 months they have went from homemade fries to store bought fries, not as good!! They have raised there prices and reduced portion size, this restaurant is on the down hill, and people are starting to notice.
Food-Mart
Fudd me, that's good!. ...their milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard, and they're like its better than yours! Milkshakes not your thing? Well then it's time to step up and crush the 1 pound burger and smother it with all your favorite fixin's. Absolutely delightful! Burgers and milkshakes not your thing? Then you don't belong at Fuddruckers.

Way to go, Fudds!. The burgers are awesome, but the best part is adding your own items to the burger and you can't go wrong with jalapeno cheese and onions. Sometimes it is noisy, but it is a great place for kids so if I am not in the mood for noise, I stay away or go at off times to avoid that. The main reason I support Fuddrucker's, even more than the fact that the food is fresh, is that they donate everything they don't sell - buns, meat, baking - all gets donated and does not get thrown in the garbage. That alone would make me support them all the more.

Fudd's Is Awesome!. I love going to Fuddrucker's when I'm in the mood for a burger! In my eyes, burgers are meant to be messy, and the do-it-yourself toppings bar certainly provides enough options to make for a big, messy burger. Can you say cheese sauce??? YUM!!! If you are on a diet, well, this probably isn't your best option unless it's splurge day, and so be it. Burger joints aren't meant to be low cal, though some of their offerings are probably better calorie wise than others. As far as noise, it's a family setting, so expect it, and people picking food out of the toppings bar without using the provided utensils, well, there's no accounting for some people. I don't see that as being the staff's fault, but the fault of people with no manners. Did you know that you can use the utensils, put the food onto your tray and then eat it?!?! What a concept!! Anyway, I think they do it up right, just what a burger place should be, with a ice cream counter and bakery to boot! Thanks Fuddrucker's, don't ever leave!!
Amanda
Love the milkshakes!. The burgers at Fuddruckers are good, but I typically don't order a full meal when I do come here.
I like sitting out on the patio on a warm summer evening with a few friends, enjoying a milkshake.
The milkshakes are definitely the best you can get in Saskatoon - the M&M milkshake is my favorite!

Good, quality hamburgers!. - Tasty, lightly crisped bun
- Well-seasoned, tender beef
- Flavourful bacon
- Big selection of condiments

Satisfaction!

Great for kids. My boys love this place. Fast and affordable. Nice to be able to customize your burger too. Great in the summer with the golf, batting cages and wall climbing.

Fuddruckers meat lacks taste. Its a big burger with tasteless meat. I had a meal and they skimped on the french fries. Two 1/2 pound burgers with fries (trace of fries) and two pop. Twenty-seven dollars and change. Excepted much more for that price. Many other restaurants with better burgers that are actually served at your table. First and last visit.

Awesome burgers! The only negative reviews are from seniors that can't handle the outside world where "kids" can be anyone under the age of 35. Viva la fudds!!!

Good Steak. I really like there steak sandwich! They actually cook it rare when i ask!

Best Burgers in 'toon. A fantastic restaurant that serves incredible burger with great taste. Its more than just a 'burger joint". Fast service as well. Fair prices.
The other thing about the Saskatoon Fuddruckers is the decor. Its stunning. The paint job inside was obviously done by a couple professionals. It certainly stands out. S & T.
Barry
Burgers. Delicious, juicy, wicked good burgers. It's all about you! You choose your toppings!
Selena
I love this place. I've been going to Fuddruckers since it opened ... I think its an incredible concept thats well executed. Of course it isn't PERFECT every time, but I know the staff works hard to succeed at serving it right!

Gotta love Fudd's. Fudd's is a Saskatoon classic. Best burgers in town and the service is always fast regardless of the fact that its consistently busy (I guess another indication of how great it is)
Chef Bunny
Mound-o-Meat. They have high grade beef. Lots of great toppings. My husband loves the fact that you can pick how much meat you want on your burger that day.
DeAnne
OH MY GOD I'M FULL. Ok, if you are starving and want a big burger with everything you can imagine on it then this is the place to go. Pile on the lettuce, pile on the cheese, pickles, onions, whatever your heart desires! But wait, there's more! Don't forget to load up your fries with liquid cheese! If you are on a diet, stay home.
RobStumborg
Bunch of kids. They have a bunch of young kids working there and they consistently screw up orders and just generally don't instill any confidence in the customer. Fuddruckers - Grow up!
Matt
Still like it. I went there last night. The burgers are still fantastic, better than anywhere else in town. The new fries definitely aren't as good as the old ones but they aren't gross by any stretch of the imagination.

No restaurant in Saskatoon (correct me if I'm wrong) has fries that are half as good as what you'd get at any fish and chip shop, pub, or takeaway place in England. It would be great if somewhere here would start making proper chips. Then they wouldn't have to change until they discontinue potatoes.
Todd Cocks
You get way less fries and they are now the generic battered ones you can get anywhere. Very disappointed and won't be back for a long time.
PrairieNess
New Fries Are Terrible!. I'm sorry, who ever decided that changing the fries and giving out way less of them was a good idea was WRONG! If people were complaining about the fries not being crispy enough tell them about "7 minute fries" or increase the fry time by a minute or two..don't take away one of the best parts of Fuds! Your new fries suck plain and simple.
Tina
Disappointed. The clerk Sean could have been on the movie Clerks, not sure if he had a pulse.
I ordered a specialty burger to go...got home...no specialty burger in the box.
Disappointed.
Cici
My cousin went there few days ago n found a hair in her burger. And all the did was give her a new one :S that is just gross!
Andrew Forsberg
Pretty good. All together it is really good. The only thing you need to do is keep you cheese sauce a little fresher. In all, a really good atmosphere and good food, definitely a place to go back to.

Fudalicious.... Fudds always does it right…Maybe that is why they are the last one around Canada…Food always consistent, and delicious for what they serve…décor great, service great, speed for orders great…Fill your own drinks for refills, I love, and the top your own burger or salad island in the middle is a god send….Everything, to the milkshakes, brownies, ice cream, salads, burgers, chicken, fries, onion rings, are all of solid quality…
The only 2 minor complaints, ohh 3 I am a picker, lol, when they hand you the cups for your drinks they stack them together so I never want the bottom one, and they sometimes put the receipt on the top of the top cup…The noise pollution tends to be drowning…They need more supervision over the salad.condinment island, as I have seen multiple people on multiple times, pick tomatoes or other items out with their hands and eating them right at the spot

Burgers Made Just the Way You Like It. The best part of this restaurant is that there's a counter filled with all the fixins that you get to put on your burger. You also get to choose the size of your burger. A pound? A 1/4 pounder? A 1/2 pound? No problem! If you don't want to make your own burger, there's also a menu of burgers already created for you. Want to try something different? Go for the elk, buffalo or wild boar burgers! There's even options for vegetarians! :)
