We hired Grind for our wedding this past weekend, and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Melissa was amazing throughout the entire process, answering the many questions I sent her way. Our tasting was wonderful - Melissa even let me add in a custom option and recipe request to try before the big day. The wedding meal was nothing less than amazing - so many of our guests raved that it was the best beef tenderloin they had ever had and Jordan and I have to agree! Melissa and her team had the entire meal served so quickly, even in the small space they had to work with. Overall, 5++ star experience - highly recommend Grind to anyone looking for catering!
We cannot thank you enough for how amazing you were on our wedding day. Ryan and myself absolutely loved every bit of our dinner as well as hearing great things about the appetizers you served during the cocktail hour. Melissa, Brian and staff were amazing the entire night and we could not ask for a better group of people to share in our special day. I am on day four of eating our leftovers and I love them just as much today as I did at our wedding. If you're looking for amazing food and a great atmosphere the grind café and catering and the gateway room is a great place to spend your special day. Also Ryan and myself can't get over how much we love the lemon pepper chicken wrap!i'll be heading there for lunch probably next week after we get back for a mini moon see you guys then!
We went to grind for a long overdue date night. The girls made sure we had the nicest spot on the patio to watch the sunset. They also gave us great suggestions from a wonderful wine list for a nice bottle to share paired with perfect appetizers. This will become our place for special occasions. Thank you Grind, we really had a great experience.
I was given the recommendation to eat here by a client today. Ordered the strawberry kale salad. It could have used more dressing but was good. Ordered the chicken parmesan for entree. The portion was huge, I only finished half and that doesn't ever happen. It was very good.
Food was great- I had the salmon. The patio is nice too. Found the picnic tables very low and uncomfortable? Our server forgot to order our app so we had to take them to go, and forgot one of our drinks later during the meal. Not a big deal. It was our first time here so we'll give it another try.
We are blessed to live on the water and grind has the best patio to take it all in. The service is amazing, the drink menu has something for everyone and the food is perfection. The creative team is always dreaming up the best specials, and it's a great place to enjoy an old favourite or try something a little new!
The view of grid is just to die for. The progress the owner has made from a sandwich bar to full blown water front restaurant and catering business goes to show how good grind is. Every time I go the food is so fresh. The lamb shank is to die for. One of the best places to go in the city with one of the best views
It was a very busy night as it was first Friday but staff still managed to get through with great service. Our dinner was delicious. You can’t beat the view either. Can’t wait to come back during lunch, the menu looked so good!
Celebrated my mom's wedding here this past weekend, all I can say is wow. What a beautiful venue, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. We all had such a good time! Big shout out to Brian and Melissa, it was a pleasure meeting you both. Thanks to the both of you for making my mom's special day amazing :) Henry and I will stop by and say hi next time we visit Sarnia xo
Had an excellent steak at the grind. Probably the best steak I've had in a long time. It has a great view and the staff are excellent. I will be back
Great food, fast and attentive service. Restaurant is very nice. Got the Pad Thai and it was good, portions were very generous as well. Will be coming back in the future.
