Review Grind - Sarnia

We went to grind for a long overdue date night. The girls made sure we had the nicest spot on the patio to watch the sunset. They also gave us great suggestions from a wonderful wine list for a nice bottle to share paired with perfect appetizers. This will become our place for special occasions. Thank you Grind, we really had a great experience.

I was given the recommendation to eat here by a client today. Ordered the strawberry kale salad. It could have used more dressing but was good. Ordered the chicken parmesan for entree. The portion was huge, I only finished half and that doesn't ever happen. It was very good.

Food was great- I had the salmon. The patio is nice too. Found the picnic tables very low and uncomfortable? Our server forgot to order our app so we had to take them to go, and forgot one of our drinks later during the meal. Not a big deal. It was our first time here so we'll give it another try.

We are blessed to live on the water and grind has the best patio to take it all in. The service is amazing, the drink menu has something for everyone and the food is perfection. The creative team is always dreaming up the best specials, and it's a great place to enjoy an old favourite or try something a little new!

The view of grid is just to die for. The progress the owner has made from a sandwich bar to full blown water front restaurant and catering business goes to show how good grind is. Every time I go the food is so fresh. The lamb shank is to die for. One of the best places to go in the city with one of the best views

It was a very busy night as it was first Friday but staff still managed to get through with great service. Our dinner was delicious. You can’t beat the view either. Can’t wait to come back during lunch, the menu looked so good!

Celebrated my mom's wedding here this past weekend, all I can say is wow. What a beautiful venue, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. We all had such a good time! Big shout out to Brian and Melissa, it was a pleasure meeting you both. Thanks to the both of you for making my mom's special day amazing :) Henry and I will stop by and say hi next time we visit Sarnia xo

Had an excellent steak at the grind. Probably the best steak I've had in a long time. It has a great view and the staff are excellent. I will be back

Great food, fast and attentive service. Restaurant is very nice. Got the Pad Thai and it was good, portions were very generous as well. Will be coming back in the future.

We were in Sarnia to visit the tall ships that were coming in that weekend. It was an absolutely marvellous day to take a walk along sarnia's Waterfront. While we were there we decided to pause and pick up a coffee and a sweet to enjoy down at the waterfront. There is a great selection of coffees and a marvellous selection of snacks to go along with the coffee or tea. Located within a block of the waterfront, you couldn't beat the location. I would highly recommend you stop when you're in the area.

The food was delicious, the kitchen accommodated my canola oil allergy which was much appreciated, service from Jenna was excellent and although I don,t care for high stools for dinner and it was quite crowded the atmosphere was ok.

We had a great night on the Patio with friends, the food was great, our waitress Jenna was amazing, she made our night perfect…bar staff were great too !!

Very Good Food Pricey but great views in this location that's great for a walk on the water before or after The service isn't consistently good but I guess it depends on your server and how busy it is I do recommend it :)

We hired Grind for our wedding this past weekend, and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Melissa was amazing throughout the entire process, answering the many questions I sent her way. Our tasting was wonderful - Melissa even let me add in a custom option and recipe request to try before the big day. The wedding meal was nothing less than amazing - so many of our guests raved that it was the best beef tenderloin they had ever had and Jordan and I have to agree! Melissa and her team had the entire meal served so quickly, even in the small space they had to work with. Overall, 5++ star experience - highly recommend Grind to anyone looking for catering!

We cannot thank you enough for how amazing you were on our wedding day. Ryan and myself absolutely loved every bit of our dinner as well as hearing great things about the appetizers you served during the cocktail hour. Melissa, Brian and staff were amazing the entire night and we could not ask for a better group of people to share in our special day. I am on day four of eating our leftovers and I love them just as much today as I did at our wedding. If you're looking for amazing food and a great atmosphere the grind café and catering and the gateway room is a great place to spend your special day. Also Ryan and myself can't get over how much we love the lemon pepper chicken wrap!i'll be heading there for lunch probably next week after we get back for a mini moon see you guys then!

Best food and service I have ever had in sarnia.. The staff always goes above and beyond, at there cafe as well as many weddings I have been to which, they have catered.. The food is always incredible, different, and displayed like it should be in a magazine.. Thank you guys for always doing a 110%, you guys are truly what Sarnia needed:)

I can't say enough amazing things about Grind Catering. Not only do they have an incredible staff of people but their menu is always so innovative, and their food is by far the best food you'll eat. If you haven't tried them yet you are mos def missing out. Thanks Grind for always exceeding our expectations!!!

Melissa, Brian, and their team did our wedding for us and the food was absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments on how delicious everything was. Melissa was easy to work with and responded quickly to most inquiries and concerns. Aside from a few very minor things the day of the wedding everything was great. I couldn't recommended Melissa, Brian, and the staff at Grind enough. If you want great service and food that's above and beyond this is the place for you.

Melissa and the Grind team were awesome and so accommodating for our wedding! Everyone loved their meals and the service was top notch! Highly recommend adding the carnival bar to your late night menu as it was a huge hit! Melissa was there the day of to ensure it went smooth (and smoothed out a minor seating arrangement issue for us). Can't thank them enough and will be using them for future catering needs for sure!

We had Grind cater our wedding and not only was their food absolutely delicious their service and professionalism was top notch! They have so many great options available which makes it hard to choose from - but you cannot go wrong with whatever choice you make as we had compliments from our guests on every dish! Me and a couple of my friends did Grind's cooking class and it was amazing!! So much fun, I learned so much and of course the food was ridiculously good. Love this place and the staff are so awesome!

Grind's food is so good that one time I dropped half a wrap on the ground outside and I still ate it.

Grind catered our wedding this weekend and everything was absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond and were so helpful with all of the extras we needed done. The food was phenomenal and a number of guests were even offered a second plate. The midnight buffet of sliders and fries was a huge hit. I definitely recommend Grind catering for every party need and will be using them for future events.

Hidden gem! Met one of the owners at my workplace and we talked about the cafe. Did a Google search and was impressed with the photos of the various menu items. We loved the breakfast sandwich and have been back multiple times for the Vietnamese Chicken Hoagie. The house salad is amazing as well. I'll be heading to the happy Friday tomorrow night. Yum!

This is a Great option for Catering. I have used Grind Cafe multiple times. Food is delicious, business is professional, and owners are friendly. I will be using their catering in the future. Thanks You guys for your help
