This is one of my favourite spots in sarnia. Always amazing food. I've never had something I haven't liked. Awesome drinks too. I recommend sideways to everyone.
Had amazing service and food tonight. It's always a great place to meet up with my friends.
Great local place! Small, but cozy and not cramped. Super friendly staff and they even remembered us when went back the next night! Had fish and chips both nights because it was delicious! Can tell it is a local spot. Really nice atmosphere and good food. Plenty of TVs with various channels on, but not too loud so you can actually enjoy your conversations as well.
Love this place. Great vibe. Good good. The one waiter that always serves us is a beauty. Highly recommend. They made a very minor mistake with my food and they replaced, took it off the bill and gave us free dessert. Debatably the best bar food in town.
Re check # 437064-1 table #6 Jessica was our waitress and her service could not have been better. The food was wonderful but nothing enhances the food and the dining experience better than great service. Jess was personable, professional, efficient and more. Thanks Jessica, and we will be back,
Stopped in for dinner on a quiet night with the little ones..
Maybe not appropriate for ones with younger children (warning only bar chair seating) .. But waitress was more than nice to accommodate where she could.
Got:
fish n chips -- batter could be better but my 6yo son couldn't get enuf (so who's to say)
Philly cheese sandwich -- tasty!!
Quesadilla -- surprised how good it was...
Ceasar (cocktail) -- very well executed and another standout.
Overall Sideways is a friendly neighborhood bar with very good food..
Everyone including little ones all left happy...
Great place to come downtown for food. Ceaser salad is fantastic! Good menu and food was excellent. Sometimes odd music choices and music is very loud.
Burger was fantastic! Really done well, the meat was flavorful, lots of cheese, thick and juicy. The fries reminded me of new york fries, they were nice and crisp. The gravy was runny and not very good though, but the awesome burger and decent fries made up for it.
First time and we loved it! Love the pub like atmosphere. Food was fresh and really good! Loved the Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls and my fish! The burgers look incredible as well! Will definitley come back!
