Today was my first time at Big Tide Brewing Co and it will not be my last. The atmosphere is very nice and the big open windows allows you to enjoy the salt water breeze.
The food was very reasonably priced and was great. The deep fried pickles and spinach dip were delicious! And I have the Reuben sandwich which was also very tasty!
And last but not least the service, it was fantastic! Thomas was our server and he was efficient, sociable and incredibly helpful. Also when my family and I recieved our appetizers, he brought out a little bowl of fries for my 11 month old nephew so he would have something to eat too. It was a very thoughtful thing to do and I very much appreciate his kind gesture!
Big Tide Brewing Co, give that man a raise! Don't let him go, he is a great asset to your company.
Stopped into Big Tide on a whim driving west back to the US from Cape Breton. What a lovely find. Not a big fan of flavored beers, but the Pumpkin Ale was the best I have ever had, or hope to have. Thomas was at the bar. He served and gave us the run down of everything in the place and great info about craft beer in the Atlantic provinces. Food was delicious - have the crispy chili chicken wrap, and the home made kettle chips which are perfection. Wish we could have stayed all afternoon. Will definitely be back some day. Thanks again Thomas. And oh that Pumpkin Ale will not soon be forgotten ...!
The spinach salad topped with grilled chicken breasts is my new preffered meal here and the mozza sticks are the best in town and of course, the Celtic Mist Irish Red is to die for.
